  3. "feck off to Bromley"?

  5. Frankito You could always get a bus to the other end of the park which would save you the ten minute walk.

  7. Bonniebird, Just what i said. How would a dog be bored being outside? Or have i missed something and this dog enjoys watching TV, spot of ironing, runs a bath before cooking supper.
  8. bonniebird Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Poor thing, being left outside is the problem, its > probably bored half to death :( good luck. ________________________________________________________ What nonsense.
  9. Excellent attitude Zeban. Just as well we don't all think like that, as we may still be living in caves! Progress creates jobs and jobs allow people to have homes :)
  10. Foxtons were proven to be con-artistes of the highest order on a documentary a good while back. I'm sure that's not the case with our friendly chums on Lordship lane these days.
  11. kerrrrching!! Rapha sample sale, it's full of win!
  12. Absolutely, often with an i-plod plugged in too. Carefree bliss of death :-S

However, i have experienced a couple of situations where with little traffic around a lorry has come thundering up to the green lights overtaking me very close to the junction and of course turning left with me intending on going straight over. I would resent being called a halfwit had i mad contact with that truck!
  14. Ask for triple time, company car and free private medical care for you extended family. If they refuse, head to the recruitment consultant and get yourself another job. ;-]
  15. Thanks Applespider. This is true John, i had enough to say on the previous threads. Nothing to do with your thread specifically, just though i would side step this one and allow others to continue the conversation. *can't help myself* So, not sure if it will make much difference to anything though as it just appears to be a reaction to the recent case where cyclist killed a pedestrian I'm a cyclist & I don't have an issue with the proposal for what it's worth...
  16. ^haha, i am not going to get dragged into this one for sure. Enough has been said about cyclist to last a good while :) *positive thoughts*
  17. ^ "and what has walking to bus stops got to do with anything?" Walking to bus stops has everything to do with this debate when compared next to lazy sods complaining about not getting parking space right next to the front door of Sainsuburys. I am surprised you failed to see this?
  18. The OP might like to know that i shall be rining my bell and doffing my cap as a join some 400 fellow cyclist on this weekends famous London Tweed Run, where impeccable grooming and manners are a must. I trust i have the OPs approval? (sorry to dissapoint, but not flouro lycra louts permitted) http://www.hypebeast.com/image/2011/02/the-tweed-run-london-2011.jpg http://www.davidrager.org/blog/images/tweedrun20106.jpg
  19. Ridiculous and tedious this whole cyclist bashing rubbish. Silly this, but: when i walk down Oxford Street, pedestrians literally bash into me. Should they wear a bell?? NO they shouldn't Just live and let live, deal with it, move on.
  20. Horsebox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This is going exactly the same way as last weeks > thread on cyclists. > > And every other thread on cyclists. > > Awesome. _______________________________________________ True...
  21. Sarnges you haven't answered my question to you: 'i too would be interested to know what Sarnges view are on this. Ringing a bell on a shared public foot/cycle path would be considered rude by some folks standards (in a 'get out of my way' kind of way) yet the OP deems it rude if we don't ring our bells. I would be most grateful for some clarification Sarnge.'
  22. Ridgley, I and most cyclist on this here forum would empathise with you, It is not acceptable behaviour. But why can't you accept that there are bad drivers, cyclist and pedestrian... Instead of singling out cyclists?
