^ I really am not bothered in the slightest, otherwise i would not have posted. Who's sounding dumb now? As regards other breaking the law, there are numerous post re drugs as one example so lets not be too naive... But that of course is besides the point as i'm sure at least you will agree.

I'm can assure you more than half the users of this forum break the law in some (apparently) small way every day yet don't give it moments thought. I don't see this as being any different, sorry. The law needs changing in my opinion.

My word, some classy posts here! It?s a shame some people can only revert to expletives in order to express themselves. Or maybe those such as rinsted don?t have exams to revise for right now? So what exactly is the problem with my actions... We control all number of animals. We eat all number of animals, so I must assume it?s not that? This can only lead me to the conclusion that it is the potential risk to ....cats? Do not think that I haven?t considered this fully by taking all precautions available/necessary in order to avoid such an occurrence. Please continue.....

Erm, ok! Troll, 14yr old??? Meh! Really........ Look, i'm none of the above, although you are entitled to make your own judgments of course... Firstly i'm not really bothered by threats of the law as they can't seem to find a stolen bike let alone solve any major case of rodent/vermin/minor mammal murder. For me,my friends next door and across the road. Foxes are a major pest. And for all the reasons you state above that i am supposedly unable to do anything about it. ....I am! Because no one else will

^really?

Sue, I have reported to the council. I get a similar response from them as i do from JCTG.... 'it's just not legal!!!' I've had enough of that crap! they are a pest/ vermin! why should they be given the green card?? Action now required....

^ your seriously not comparing a family pet to a fox are you??? Foxes are not pets you plonker! They are vermin.... this is my whole point. With an answer like that, I can only assume that you seem to think foxes are cute 'pet' like creatures.... ?
-
How not? i put dead birds in the bin.... and chicken/beef carcass in the bin...??? What nonsense are you talking. .... You don't stalk peoples bins do you....?
-
Er, humans? Exactly.... now you're getting it:) And because some people are too limp wristed to do anything about it because the LAW says its wrong. Grow some balls and join me in becoming a fox predator...

I'm not digging a grave if that's what you're after And for the record, i am quite serious *pulls mean looking face*

There are no predators in the foxes food chain.... They are worms without birds. They are Flys without Spiders They are rats without Rentokil.

^i'd drown it

@jctg You just answer my questions with questions?? Or just state legal facts..... Do you never question the law? or is that just gospel for you good ole' citizen :) Come on! challenge the things that are.... I'm think the law is an ass if it makes a difference between a fox and a rat. What do you really think besides hiding behind what the law says?
-
I could add that there are too many stray cats in the area too...... Bonus all round :P

First point: What is the difference between a fox and a rat? and why should there be any difference? Second point: And how would they do that? They are pests. Full stop. Something needs to be done.
-
The point is, i am fully aware of its illegality. Which is why we have a problem in the first instance. Which is why i have had to resort to these measures. Why oh why should foxes be treated any differently to rats? We have no problems poisoning them? Why don't you go and report Rentokil to the RCPCA?
-
@ marmora man For sure i'm not going change the fox world. But apply the same apathy to having mice or rats in your house and what have you got? I will do my bit. If everyone else did the same, we might get somewhere towards controlling these filthy scavengers.

> Why did you even bother to post this on here? Aren't forums places where people are permitted to openly discuss topics as they feel appropriate?? I thought that's what forums were all about?

Trust me, i've seen them do it... do everything i have accused them of. I have seen Foxes do it all. As i said before.... not a single cat has ventured through our garden in years.......
-
Yeah yeah, we've so many foxes in and around our garden cats don't even get a look in! I haven't seen a cat pass through here for literally years. Foxes have taken over..... And for sure, i have considered all options and am very aware of other animals passing through. My traps have been very strategically placed... although not totally cat proof i admit.

Please help Save the Velodrome - it's a facility for everyone
Pearson replied to HerneHope's topic in The Lounge
+10000000 to all the above. This is such a great facility it just can't be allowed to close. It has become an integral part of our family weekends. -
I have decided i need to take some drastic action! There are over a dozen foxes on our street: shitting all over the garden, tearing up litter, digging holes where ever and with their constant whining at night bla bla bla. I've had enough! So after much research, i have set up some carefully positioned poisoned bait and snares around their main routes into and out of our garden. Obviously some may not agree with my actions. But quite frankly, i consider them to be no different to Rats. Someone has to do something about this problem. Where will it stop? Will keep you posted on progress....
