^hmmm cool, that seems very handy number to have. Will give it a go. Is it the kind of number where they can react immediately to a situation if they feel it's appropriate, or do they just record incidents? Thanks Sandperson -

That cycle route round the back of Tesco up to Tower bridge road with DHL bases etc... is now off my route!! Second time tonight, 3 little (quite tall actually) twunts tried to nick my bike..... 2 white kids and one black kid, hang around by the road, then run out at you just as your passing. For some bizarre reason i decided to speed up and head for them??!!! It worked.... seemed to freak'em out a little and they backed off looking confused. Lucky me! Same thing, same kids, last week only later in the evening. Will be avoiding that route for a while now. ^Hard to stop it though Boss. Besides, would seem like a good thing to have out in the open on the forum. May even be able to assist gathering evidence from anybody who may have seen anything suspicious....??!! Just a thought, sorry if i missed something.

To add to the recent spate of muggings listed in this thread. A woman was assaulted on Cyrena road last night. Worth mentioning here i thought.

This has been bothering me for some time. Please forgive me if this sounds like a rant, i'll keep it brief. For some years now and still going on today, drugs are openly being sold from 'working mens clubs' only a few blocks down the same street as Peckham Police station on Meeting House Lane. Effectively being run as drug shops. And the Police are fully aware of this. Yet, i am told by the Police that they cannot do anything about it........!? It is this i find extremely hard (impossible) to accept. What possible legal loopholes exist that prevent the Police from shutting such places down? It is little wonder the criminals have little respect for them these days when the Police are unable to prevent this sort of activity going on under their very noses. Please don't get me wrong, I am not trying to bash the Police, I just don't understand how this is allowed to carry on! P/

Alistair Darling! why on earth did you not make it a condition of the loan that no bonuses should be paid until said loan is paid off!! We might have stood a better chance of recovering our taxes and avoided this whole debacle from the outset................. *shakes head in disbelief*

^for sure, +1 Whenever i have to use public transport i go right out of my way to make those seat-hoggers (who're usually pretending to be engrossed in some book or similar) to move their bums & bags!!
