I don't feel 'trapped'... what are you on about? Others who, as you say agree with you 'might not want to spend their lives trapped' probably don't take cannabis. What you're saying is total crap. Lots of people drink, very few progress to fully blown alcoholics. The same is true for all the above drugs as well.

Agreed, for some it's not a pleasant experience. I might argue that I dislike cycling along there because the pedestrians just wonder all over the place and present a hazard to cyclist. Come on, it's about being considerate to each other. There will always be someone (on both sides of the fence) who will step outside of the boundaries and make it less pleasant for others. As has already be mentioned, there are also cyclists you don't use that path for the same reason you friend doesn't use the path.

So with regards to the OP, are you saying it is fair that wealthier folk should be entitled to child benefit?

To be fair some cyclists are all over the place (regardless of their speed), you have a point. But in turn, some pedestrians are also all over the place and don't appear to be aware that they too have to share this route. With cyclist.

My god. - A lot of the highest earners are vastly overpaid for what they do and it seems absolutely right that as a society we are not afriad to challenge that. I actually agree with you!

What's fair about children of higher earners not getting child benefit, whilst these people pay most into the tax system? Probably because they would have to pay less tax if it wasn't being taken by people who could actually afford to do without it?

Ok, so you know i've been stirring it somewhat! boredom is my only excuse. Please accept my apologies to those i have offended.
