  1. I have a big confession to make! I didn't read it... Why don't you just post it up here?
  2. I was driving up Barry road this morning when someone edged out way over their mark into Barry road, by say 2/3ft. Didn't have enough time to stop and solid traffic the other way Only choice to swerve round dangerously into the oncoming traffic It happens way too often. Net effect of that of course, in worse case scenario is the traffic i forced over ends up exactly where the BMW did.....:(
  3. I should also add i thought very highly of Bow Wow Miao. The service is/was fantastic! And run by very lovely people. I genuinely did not mean for my post to be interpreted in the way it was.
  4. I admit my posts read really badly on reflection. My intention was to warn people not to associate Simon with the description of the guy the OP was referring to. (Back in the day he had 'longish' not grey hair...! and yes it was 5yrs ago) I did not anticipate people to misunderstand my post/ what they thought i meant. Hence my defensiveness. Simon & Bow Wow Miaow I apologise.
  5. To be fair, i'm not over opposed to any of Kbabe01's suggestion. What harm would it do?

  8. ^You're right
  9. That is poor form. Name and shame!
  10. From my own experience, I would say there are as many ignorant pedestrians as there are cyclists as there are motorists! When i am a cyclists, for sure some days i get cut up more by other cyclists than i do cars. And when i drive, well there are similar things going on there too with other motorists.. There are also pedestrian who just walk out into the road without looking/ red lights/ mobile/ headphones etc.. Lets stop trying to blame each other and learn to share the road and give a little respect to each other too. Very diplomatic eh! :)
  11. 'According to ljs he doesn't look anything like the description' What about you... do you think he fits that description?
  12. Give it a rest Cate. Yes it is how i remember Simon from a few years ago!
  13. Cate, "There could be some confusion over professional dog walkers. Simon from 'Bow wow meo' could easily fit that description. They tend to ferry the dogs around in an old converted cabs though. I said he 'could', not he 'did'! To point out that there 'could be some confusion if people were not careful'. Maybe if i lacked clarity in the first post, i think i have made myself clear now?
  14. No Cate, he's a Landlord. That's called dreaming...
  15. ^ Cate, the OP has already said: 'the whole things it going to cost me nigh on ?400 and the landlord is refusing to cover the cost of any of this" In which case i seriously doubt he will pay for double glazing you suggest..
  16. My 2pc worth. I have a real problems with the built out sections for bus stops. It encourages people waiting for a bus to stand very close to the curb at the very point where vehicles squeeze to pass each other. My fear is one day a vehicle will be forced to mount the curb to avoid an on-coming truck bus etc :(
  17. What you want dates?? they used to use Peckham Rye.. what more do you want? And before you ask, i know Simon too and i would often see him there with his cab parked next to the cafe. As regards description, if you read my first post i was actually saying he could fit that description. And yes people 'should be careful' and not get confused. And just to be extra safe. I like Simon and he is a good guy! OK?

He's does walk his dogs in Peckham though, or at least used too.
  19. Hahahaha. I seriously doubt that(td)

Don't you know that law would apply if a car in front of stopped suddenly and you went into the back of it too. I'm not condoning drunk cyclist, but lets face it there are also drunk drivers Clearly you were also not driving with due care and attention Man up and accept that you were in the wrong and also driving dangerously.

Sorry ______________________________________________________ You've not made any point at all. If we're generalizing which you are ever so slightly, I think you'll find most cyclist also drive which means they of course pay road tax. Not that cyclists need too of course, which obviously makes you unhappy. Sorry. Twat
