After some extensive research. I have discovered that you should be posting threads of this nature in the WANTED section -" All items lost and found, including cats" Doesn't mention dead? So you should be ok ;-)
-
DJKQ - For sure, i've never come across a dead cat and that's helpful advice! As regards foxes... presumably binning is ok??
-
On a serious note: Why oh why can't you just put it in the bin cat or fox..? I mean do we really need to waste peoples time by calling 'specialists' out to do this for us. Just seems like a waste of council resources and tax payers money.
-
^ stay on topic you! We'll have none of that pussy eating chat on this thread ;-)
-
hehehe Smells a bit bad for the first few minutes though!
-
Just watch out for lurking CCTV!
-
^Put them in a bin ;)

"While you were out" -- Royal Mail false delivery attempts
Pearson replied to Alex K's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
For what it's worth, i've never had any problems with Royal Mail. When i read the OP a few days ago, it did seem strange the he was confident enough to post about a letter which wasn't even addressed to him... Which in turn left me thinking he was just looking for an excuse to rant about posties?? EDDORDC - Top man for posting your side of events. I have nothing but praise for the postmen i have encountered on my road (Rodwell Rd) There is one particular postie who i really like always smiles, friendly and chatty too. -
Freeloading scum! Do you have any idea how they got in? How long was the place left empty.

At best they'd need Advertisement consent, possibly Building control if they were to alter the internal layout. Unless it's a short term lease you're referring to?

Chops - Keep a close eye on Gumtree over the next few weeks and i would also suggest visiting Brick Lane this Sunday morning. I have retrieved a stolen bike from the scum thief through a Gumtree advert! (don't waste you time calling the Police or gumtree if you see it there... Just go get it, be sensible about it of course) If you have anymore details of the bike like steel/ alu frame etc might help if someone comes across it? Good luck!

Aye... which is fair enough! Topics involving Dogs do seem to stir up rather emotional responses...

A bit odd that it was deleted, I don't see other businesses given that 'special' treatment?
-
^Occado surely? much easier... you can post on the forum at the same time for the WIN!

intexasatthe moment Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No speed humps at the top end by the Plough or > anywhere else on Barry Rd . _______________________________________________________ There is a 'raised' pedestrian crossing on Peckham Rye which is effectively a speed bump.. Could they not do that to the pedestrian crossing on Barry road junction in question. I am of course assuming Peckham Rye is also classified as a 'B' road?

It's very telling that so many estate agents can afford the very high rents around here.:-S 80K pa is a heck of a lot, relative to some west end locations for a similar sq footage.

Thank you Dorothy -
This, a retail experts view of Iceland: "He (food writer Jay Rayner) put it down to demographics and perception. Iceland now competes directly with the value supermarkets such as Aldi and Lidl, which have successfully broadened their customer base by making middle England feel terribly clever at finding the odd item at a bargain price. Yet, many of us, me included, can?t see beyond Iceland?s long-standing reputation for processed rather than fresh food." "I know there are many families strapped for cash and Iceland probably helps a lot in their weekly budgeting but I would love to see it assisting in guiding people how to eat cheaply but nutritiously. Iceland announced record profits last year, so it may be happy enough"

"The study, carried out for the Department for Transport, found that in 2% of cases where cyclists were seriously injured in collisions with other road users police said that the rider disobeying a stop sign or traffic light was a likely contributing factor. Wearing dark clothing at night was seen as a potential cause in about 2.5% of cases, and failure to use lights was mentioned 2% of the time." "The data, which was analysed by the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL), showed that more than a quarter of all cycling deaths in 2005-07 happened when a vehicle ran into the rear of a bike. This rose to more than one-third in rural areas and to 40% in collisions that took place away from junctions.
