  1. I think Cates point is that there are LOTS of threads already on here about burglaries in ED and surrounding areas!
  2. They're in the pub! don't break the picket line ;-)
  3. Andy Irons Surf Champion
  4. Kateie1997 - Sealskinz gloves are amazing! they do many different styles for many different uses. good price too. Just google them.. And if you haven't tried already, when it gets really cold. Try some very fine silk liners (decathlon d some good one for under a fiver i seem to recall) I hate cold fingers!

  6. He didn't have a card!! OMG I hope you called the police :(
  7. But seriously Cate, you never even found out if he was a 'con-man'? You didn't even open the door... Sure, i & other know of the ones how do ask for cash up front and i agree they are not to be trusted. But you're just adding 2 + 1 and getting 37???
  8. Whaow, that's riveting :-S You must be some sort of 'fashion guru'?
  9. There are some good people in this world believe it or not, he could just have been one of them..maybe? I think you need to get out more :)

Are you a reporter? _______________________________________________________ ^There's an intelligent response to DJKQ posts. (td) Do you always believe everything the UNION say?
  13. A GP recommendation in ED is meaningless if you have no experience of another! It would be helpful to the OP and others if this could be stated in in your post. I use crystal palace. They're ok. I have never had an appointment on time. They do seem helpful though but the GPs seem to vary (for me) a lot and the advice given by some GP's to be questionable. (occasionally) I have no other experience of any other local GP
  14. Cate, this is a first.. but i agree with you. Everyone thinking their special posting about their stolen this and that, burgled etc. There are loads of threads on this/these issues, same subject. all saying the same thing: be vigilant/look out/ did anyone see. becomes tedious I am sorry for the OP though :(
  15. Whoever thought it was a good idea to give squatters 'rights' in the first place FFS! Flipping limp wristed Liberals!!

And if not??? Alot of assumptions going on there Cate? I leave my dog outside most of the day... He prefers being 'lonely and cold'! :)
  18. Not good news. Isn't there a pedestrian crossing there?

She sounds like a responsible owner to me!? Jeez
  20. ^ true. My dog got 'beaten up' by a cat a while back... Now runs a mile whenever he spies them, silly sausage :)
  21. +1 I've already started a (contentious) thread about this.. ;)
  22. @ Pilgrim/ Supporters of strike I don't believe you answered Loz question, although I'm sure you'll disagree Really, why does it have to be the 5th? Are you proud of that decision?? why not strike on the 2/3/4th/67/th :-)
  23. Doesn't sound good at all. There was some talk of cyclist & elderly lady in the other thread. I hope those involved are going to be ok.
