  1. I agree, poor form :( Maybe we should set up a BAD TRADERS thread where we can name and shame?

Seems to be a similar thread/ question going on in the business section: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,599949

Back on topic: What about a small boutique 10 bed hotel type place. There could be a market for this type of establishment. Create a destination, rather than your run of the mill nice bed, clean bathroom type of operation? Something unique with a distinct point of difference. Just a thought for the OP :)

We never will have an M&S or Waitrose, > > Louisa. ______________________________________________ Your post is a bit harsh :( That aside, you appear to be forgetting about Walworth road M&S?! Or do you consider that such an exclusive part of south London as to have the infrastructure and reputation to accommodate such a 'prestigeous' brand as M&S :-S The Victoria pub seems to think there is a market for a 'hotel' (of some sorts) The whole chain seems to be capitalizing on the 'up-market' aesthetic, and it appears to be serving them well, so far. Why is it so ludicrous for someone to simply ask our opinions on the viability of another potential opportunity such as that described by the OP?? It hardly falls into the Waitrose bracket/debate! It seems to me that the OP is simply interested in setting up a quality hotel/B&B style business in the area. And why not!? And finally Louisa, whilst East Dulwich may not be Chelsea. I would hardly describe it as 'Skanky'??? P/

They can be washed and they stop your helmet getting smelly sweaty :)

  13. Black Sambuca?
  14. You're not alone felt-tip. I think Binary star has OCD ;-) (I'm just jealous actually) The most important thing about gloves for me, is that they get put on the radiator as soon as i get home so they're nice dry and toasty for the next day.
  15. hahaha, don't worry, I laugh at myself too :)-D Dudette!

Better than most of the other options available Sir ;-)
  17. Measured in 'gear inches' you are actually on a higher ration than your friend. 68.9 v 64.2 - 70 is about average for a road/commute bike. (90 for a track bike for example) If you were to adopt you're friends gear ratio you would be in effect dropping down a gear/ more spinning. Which also equates to pedaling faster for same speed. I would stick with what you have, even go higher if you are finding it 'too easy' if you know what i mean.
  18. ^ What's that all about, TBH i'm not sure where you're going with that comment?
  19. sakwhita - So what's this idea of yours? I guess it depends on the gloves you wear, ie waterproof/ Merino wool/ mits /`sweaty cheapo ski gloves etc (edit:typos abound!)
  20. ^Really DJ/Binary? I just wash when they smell bad :) Probs thrice a season?
  21. I just burn some ole' furniture borrowed off the neighbors. Nice'n toasty :) (Ikea stuff burns a bit too quick though)
  22. or the burning of the Koran by some weirdo American extremists
  23. haha. You would be best to sign up to LFGSS forum and ask some questions there. This is the thread: https://www.lfgss.com/thread41959.html
  24. The 'coach' i mentioned is a 'woman' if that makes any difference. Not sure sex makes much difference? Most Polo i watch is uni-sex. Bit more inclusive ;-)
  25. So, it's a bit of a storm in a tea cup?
