  1. Peeps, You post this on a public forum please don't get upset by the replies. You sound educated enough to expect a mixed response. Flashers are not a new concept, we all have our own encounters/ memories. You're not the only person to have been flashed. (which is how you're coming across right now)
  2. Louisiana, Leave him be.. he's a wind up merchant who appears to me to be jealous of our lovely community! At least that's all a can deduce, given that he's lurking around this forum. (i can imagine it's quite lonely in the country?)

Sorry, i think it's about time something positive was said. All of the above suggestions, we've done them all. I think we have a truly excellent community here! Our street parties have even become annual camping trips!! We have at least 12 set of keys in our house for various neighbours on our stretch of the road. At least 18 'dads' on our road go for drinks almost bi-monthly. East Dulwich is a great place to live, I honestly find it hard to think of things that would improve on that!! Lets keep some perspective please.
  4. Is it Friday already? this thread could really cheer up my afternoon.
  5. In view of the direction this conversation's been going, this appeared interesting, especially the timing: Gang injunctions

  9. I'm not saying i disagree with you Bluerevolution. Just saying that Kateland was at least offering some positive suggestions. Which in my book is a good thing, workable or not.
  10. You can all pick on Kateland but her sentiments are positive and good so give her a break please. Whether the idea is flawed or not, i don't see any positive suggestions from Miles or Bluerevolution. Maybe this subject deserves it's own thread..
  11. Everything makes sense now
  12. Narnia has Moobs
  13. Op: You appear to have forgotten about BBC Websites: weather/ news/ Kids Cbbc/ Cbeebies amazing websites educationally. By Op's own admission he/she is a 'MUG' for not realizing how great the BBC is!

  15. Ha, love it! I never forget when my sister got flashed when she was about 10 yrs old. She came home from school and told mum. Mum asked, what did you do... Sister: I just laughed and wiggled my little finger tiny tiny tiny hehehehe We called the police, the were next to useless. Could help but think my sister won the day anyhow! It's a state of mind i guess.
  16. His comments with regards to Sainsubruys were simply ridiculous. Smacked of a politician try to say something meaningful without anything meaningful to say.

Pathetic Jibber jabber...hahahaha Your point was?

Let me fix that for you: "One thing I will be asking about is having such > huge unattended areas around EAST DULWICH that > appears un supervised BY THE POLICE. The changed reduced >HOURS on Saturday nights and the rest of the year have > resulted in much less supervision of EAST DULWICH and the surrounding areas." Apologies if you feel this to be somewhat 'sarcastic'. But seriously, how can you divert some of the blame for this on Sainsburys?? Bizarre.

  21. I blame Iceland and the Chavs it attracts
  22. But even a ?24 it's still very cheap compared to market value for equivalent volume space? And, if there is space available then it would imply that there isn't the demand for them. There only going to get snapped up by unscrupulous developers sooner or later :( (DJKQ - How much is the bike you store in it? sure not 1 weeks rent. I presume you mean annual rent?)
  23. Sarcasm aside. I had no idea you could rent a garage of the council! For sure they might be increasing the rent but it still looks like a bargain given the cost of general storage these days. Thanks for the link PeckhamRose :)
  24. PeckhamRose Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well they won't know, will they! ------------------------------------------------------ hahaha, glass garage doors in Peckham! GOLD ;-)
  25. ^ That is the joke. All this kind of work can be done very quickly, as some are keen to defend for some reason? The point is, it's not and that is the thing i find disgraceful. Not sure i have ever seen anyone working on that stretch of road. *Minces off to find my sense of humour*
