  1. I have.... nothing but Delis, Health centers, 'busy friendly town', Theaters etc etc? Where's the bad press...?
  2. Phew... i'm going to stop here! Like getting blood from a stone. This is just too much hard work. I'll get accused of being a troll again if i carry on :[ Thank you anyway, but for all the reasons above..... I'm out! Good luck with actually getting them to show some interest too!
  3. For sure, i/we understand that. What i don't understand, is why you cannot simply reveal at least who/what 'media' you have or haven't invited? Nor do i understand what you intend to do with the information you gather from this 'meeting' etc etc. So why should i attend if i am really interested if you cannot answer some (in my view) simple questions? again, i do apologise if i have missed something.
  4. Nor am i expecting a Carnival...! I just don't understand the lack of transparency? All this 'wait and you'll see' stuff is just annoying quite frankly. IMHO
  5. No thanks Uzzy, It exactly why i won't be coming to your meeting! Sounds like you're asking good people to give up their time under false pretense in order to help you complete some college project. Hence all the lack of information and dare i say honesty....perhaps? Sorry if i missed something.
  6. Seriously, is that the best answer you can offer? You can't be any more specific than that? who have you invited and who has confirmed? This really doesn't sound at all credible with answers such as the one you've just posted. It is a very simple question?
  7. Other have asked the same question uzzy, but exactly what 'media' are confirmed as turning up?
  8. ^another good point :) I'm not sure many of us share Uzzy concern, i for one don't see all this negative press? Bellenden has a fantastic vibe about it with some excellent pr going on. The Windigameigery thing in the park last weekend, Antony Gormley, Franks - The pop up bar... What has East Dulwich?? We had a shooting on Barry Road last year, rape earlier this year etc etc Depends what you read and how you interpret things i guess....??

Glad you mentioned it as you put it far more eloquently than i ever could ;) But seriously, how many people do you expect to turn up when you arrange for such a ridiculous time!
  10. ^Not rot at all. So you've never had Gypsies selling tea towels and clothes pegs on the odd evening??
  11. Just a thought, but we usually get this when the Circus is in town (as they are this weekend) Usually Gypsies selling their wares (rubbish).... Very rude when you refuse to buy anything.....
  12. I don't care that Peckham is getting neg press.... it is a dump. Full of murderous scum! Which is why of course we live in East Dulwich, as Narnia has kindly pointed out :) Sorry if i missed something...
  13. No thanks....! Point i guess is... he's got to learn to look after himself :) That's all really, let him deal with it himself. If he can't then he has to deal with that... himself. etc etc you get the picture...
  14. I'm with annaj, i think Huguenots contribution was perfect and annajs response was equally well measured. Her point also valid regarding your note of parenting as being some sort of qualification to provide a valued contribution? Maybe all getting a bit too personal for an internet forum? (i am a parent, if that qualifies me in anyway?) Sorry if i missed anything.
  15. ^so you're kind of saying a PC=Vaxhall Nova, MAC=Aston Martin (it's only a few hundred quid more=a few bottles of wine more?) Aston Martin wins!
  16. Much like you, similar situation few years ago. I made the break for MAC and never looked back :) They are just so simple and intuitive to use and of course most files these days are compatible across both if you save correctly. And don't forget that you probably won't 'bin' your old computer straight away, so you'll have plenty of time to switch over safely. MAC for the win. Just my opinion of course. Good luck.
  17. Not too sure about that one..? Would help to know what temperature it was being served at?
  18. you crazy cat
  19. Well, kind of. The others have known for ages..
  20. Ok, you win. I'm a troll
  21. Thank you for the advice. I'm not quite ready join your thread yet... You crack on though :)
  22. Thanks Oink :) Cracking reply, well put.
  23. ^and how old are you... really. Or is it that someone who has a different view to that of the majority is a TROLL?? Very mature attitude, regardless of what you make of my views.
  24. As i've already mentioned i am fully aware of its illegality. Thus i can assure you i have taken steps to ensure nothing can be proved. Which is of why a come across as arrogant to some as i am confident. Dumb? we'll see... I would question why you're getting so upset at some 'dumb' internet poster?
