  10. I assume the one in one out policy was to stop the place getting too busy on first night to give the bar staff a chance. Bouncers will probably be there for first few weeks to keep the customers form the orders incarnations of the pub selling their supplementary stimulants I can't wait to try it, it's my nearest pub and I really like the old nuns head so hope it's similar
  11. You could call it 'David Beckham's Flask'
  12. also depends on the time of day on Sunday, from late afternoon the traffic eastbound M4 often gets snarled up by the Hunter welly brigade. Any time after 3pm i'd just go straight through town.

  16. I'm a weirdo who stalks authors of fox based literature. Actually I work with her boyfriend. I can confirm they live in Se22 If you go to Rye books they have a big window display based on the book. Check if they still have copies there. I think Waterstones are pretty much the only ones with stock right now but would be good to buy from local store if you can.
  17. there's another thread on this, been taken over by the same people who run great exhibition and the old nuns head. should be good has been waste of a good pub for too long

  20. I stopped in Dijon too on my journey, if you can pay a bit more I'd avoid the F1 chain, pretty grotty and been a last resort for me, the ibis in Dijon has underground parking and was about ?40 a night
  21. I drove to megeve last year but this was in spring. The toll roads were great if you can try to do the motorways at the weekends as they are deserted. One thing I found is that the mobile and data reception was crap when on the road so if you need this just be aware, the wifi at motorway services could be flaky too. Have fun
  22. hi there thanks for this, out of interest what age is the landrover, just wondering if the master key is on recent models
