  1. I completely understand as i've just been through the same experience as you.... also with the Asquith Nurseries however i don't think that all nurseries are the same - apparently Mother Goose nursery at Greendale is nice I was so put off by my experience at the Dulwich Asquith Nursery that we're now opting for a nanny-share which works out at approx ?50 a day Try nannyshare.co.uk i know that there are currenlty families looking for someone to share a nanny with on that site and in the area (East Dul, Peckham and Camberwell) Good luck!
  2. Thanks Pickle Anyone else have any comments or know of any old threads on EDF? There's nothing on EFD about this nursery that i can find
  3. Does anyone have any experiences of Dulwich Asquith Nursery? Any comments or feedback you've heard or experienced first/secondhand - would be greatly appreciated *a little anxious sending a 6 month old to a nursery*
  4. the rich wouldn't be paying 16k out of pocket for elective c-sections if it wasn't a perfectly safe/happy alternative for both mother and baby... also the 'you can't have more than two c-sections' is a myth more than two just has higher 'risks' associated with it my sister's had two elective c-sections (and another on teh way) with no problems her first was a vaginal birth which was so horrifying for her, she opted to go for elective c-sections for all the others.. ... but she can afford it... lucky her!
  5. hi there Has anyone had any experiences of Camberwell Grove Early Years Centre? I put my name down for our baby before he was even conceived (!) after learning about the 2 year waiting lists in nurseries for young babies. Anyway, I just called to enquire about my place and i'm only fourth in line (!) and it doesn't look like i'll get one for July... This means that the waiting list is actually longer than two years.. crazy... and means i should have applied for a place about six months after i met the father I'm also looking for a nanny-share as a potential alternative but failing miserably Does anyone have any comments or views about this nursery or are there any other nurseries for 6 month old babies without ridiculous waiting lists? Thanks in advance
  6. Hello I've heard that childminders may only look after children of staggered ages e.g. a baby & toddler and not two babies Is this true? Is this the same for nannies? What about twins? Many thanks
