Hi, I'm really worried it's an infection His lungs sound like they are full of gunk He sounds like an old man with a full-on smoking habit He doesn't have a temperature though But yesterday he coughed up green stuff.. I'm v worried Haven't gone to a&e cos I'm on my own w a three yr old boy who would not last 5 mins in there My 4 month old was breastfed exclusively for 6 weeks then mix fed Still not heard back from gp about the referral

Hello My 4 month old has had a horrible cough for going on two months now He coughs like an old man, then retches and vomits up his feed (if he has just eaten) It can happen after feeds or just randomly, day and night Its really distressing. He's my second baby and I'm definitely not being neurotic. Our nanny said that the cough 'scares her'. Been to the doctors twice now. Then went again this monday and was meant to be referred to paediatrician but still not heard from them (usual melbourne grove cr@p) and its friday! Its definitely not infection cos he's happy (when he's not coughing) Any ideas? I'm really scared its asthma... We have no family history I had whooping cough vaccine when preg and he's had all his vaccines Assuming it can't by cystic fibrosis cos he's been tested?

brilliant thanks for all these suggestions! -
Does anything like this exist? I am basically single mum (partner away with work a lot over weekends) and a work situation has meant I have to go back full-time now under huge pressure I have two kids and I'm not getting a break... All the playgroups seem to be midweek???

Southwark Primary School Admissions for Sept 2013

It's clear that GG is an excellent school. I guess all schools that have been through special measures will go through a transition period. GG has managed an amazing transformation in a very short period of time so it's understandable that local parents are still nervous. The current head mistress is very highly regarded. The school is lucky to have her, and the staff that work alongside her. Once the wider community realise this, including the mum like the one in that evening standard article, there will be a huge shift in sentiment towards the school. Give it a couple of years and it will be another heber IMO -
Working mums - how are you finding it all?

I love going back to work I find my self so incredibly bored by the groundhog dayness of being a sahm It just doesn't suit me and it makes me feel slightly resentful and negative... I find the 'sloppy kisses and fun' begins once I get my life back. I enjoy motherhood so much more when I get a break from it! Work is a piece of p1ss relative to being at home all day - I guess I'm not a natural sahm either :) Whoop to work!! (only been back 2 days since number 2 - perhaps this feeling won't last!) -

Reiterate - when something is wrong you don't want to be anywhere else If there's nothing wrong with you, care is hit and miss. But I know I'd much rather it this way around! Good luck -
I was very down for a week when I stopped bf. But after about a week, things improved. Not sure its a long lasting thing - just hormones rebalancing maybe

I had a terrible time with a local stray I named 'fang' We managed to get him neutered and 'rehomed' Pm me for details - it was quite a story! He terrorised my tabby cat for over 6 months He bashed my cat flap through *on lock* and beat him up regularly - drew blood and pissed everywhere, sometimes in my bedroom at night. This went on for six months My cat lost weight and never left the house I often see 'fang-rapes' knocking around bellenden road. All strays but much smaller and cuter. He's in north london now

... But isn't mummy pig just brighter and that's not really sexist? I assumed that George had inherited his mum's brain cell and Peppa her dad's So the gender is reversed in the children's generation George often 'gets' things before Peppa does despite being younger

Lucky you! I had to remind my lot it was mother's day :( *violins*

Another strong recommendation for Josie We asked for some 'fake' blinds for our kitchen Josie made them beautifully and sent them to us really quickly. Great service and value

i keep seeing kids everywhere. Shops, cinema, parks, pubs.. schools ;) personally i think it's the elderly that society shut away. It feels like kids these days are the center of everything - relative
