  1. Books/TV programmes etc entitled "100 ..... to do/read/see/listen to before you die"
  2. Perhaps malcolmchurch could enlighten us with his latest theory. After all, he knows everything that's going on that we mere mortals are not allowed to see.
  3. DulwichVillageLady, if you were educated at a pubic school. it hasn't done you much good cos your punctuation ain't too brilliant.
  4. Tell us, DulwichVillageLady are you upset that Michael Gove is no longer Education Secretary? Or don't you care since your kids wouldn't be seen anywhere a state school?
  5. So is it going to be a cinema or is it going to be a church? Perhaps we should wait for official confirmation one way or the other.
  6. Spot on, MissWiggy.
  7. Why does nearly every bloody thread on this MB have to descend into a class argument. I stopped being guilty about being middle class when I was 21. I suspect that there are many middle class people on the MB pretending to be working class so that they can be down wiv da kidz. I'm waiting for Godwin's Law to kick in and for someone to compare Picture House with Hitler and/or the Fascist movement.
  8. People who leave dollops of crap in loo bowls after doing their business. Other people have to use them after you, you selfish barstewards, why can't you clear up?
  9. Actually I may have dreamed about Carluccio's. Or perhaps that was wishful thinking. Makes a change from the usual exam anxiety dreams 50 years after I took "O" Leverls.
  10. I've heard that Carluccio's is/are coming to LL. Is this true?
  11. The middle class might come to LL? But ED is a solidly working class area. How dare they!
  12. Pedestrian accidents are apparently well up in recent years. Some of these may be down to inconsiderate/dangerous motorists/cyclists; however, very many must be down to jaywalkers and the like.
  13. What a shame. LL will probably now have some decent new shops and facilities rather than the endless expensive gift shops. This would be a total disaster.
  14. Yo, dem Dulwich Village wimmin is well fit, innit?

I should have put the words "irony alert" at the end of my post.
  16. I feel so sorry for all those poor people in Dulwich Village struggling to pay the school fees, otherwise they would definitely be richer than the people in ED and Peckham. It's a shame that they can't send their children to state schools because they're full of the hoi polloi.
  17. Especially if they're driving along East Dulwich Grove near the junction with Melbourne Grove.
  18. People driving whilst holding a mobile phone and talking into it, coupled with a failure to signal whether they are turning left or right. It would be interesting to know how many people are convicted each year for this supposedly beefed up offence.
  19. DVL's motto no doubt is: "Let them eat cake".
  20. Are you talking about your "plates" in the rhyming slang sense?
  21. No, not just "Continental European types". People born and bred in the UK are just as bad, if not worse.
  22. Surely DulwichVillageLady is a send up. Or is she real, and an example of what is going seriously wrong in this country?
  23. MC, I've looked at this website, and the general consensus there seems to be that the cinema plan is the subject of rumour and wild speculation.
