I did a search for something on u tube this morning and one of the sites suggested related to magic. I clicked on it only to be advised that I was banned from it. That was quick work I must say. Why? Why?

Anyone know if you can get back into the country without one? My Mrs has just had her bag stolen in Barcelona including passport. Further complicated by her being Spanish though resident here for many years. She's due to fly back on Monday. Not much chance of that happening now methinks.

I only bet for peanuts quids so it's no big deal. I just enjoy the challenge of being up as opposed to down. One stat that is interesting though if I remember correctly is that no team has won the WC having lost a group match. Both Spain and Germany did.

Given its cost though I wonder if it's value for money for a 2.5 year old.

I hope you don't my commenting on your post as I've no idea about camera's for kids. I didn't think there was such a thing. I would have thought that because he likes looking at pictures on your camera doesn't mean he needs a camera. I also wonder what his parents might think of you getting him a possibly luxury good at such a young age. Kids don't really respect somethings material value. It might give them nightmares trying to make sure he doesn't damage it because you gave it to him. I don't mean to be negative but this is a parent who gave in to a child's passing wish for a reptile and finds himself looking after a pet snake a couple of years later. My attitude towards gifts for kids was to try and get something to help their development or that was fun to play. My son didn't get a camera until he actualy asked for one in his teens (where he still is). It might just be a waste of money too.

Maybe that's it. I know facebook was blocked where I used to work except during lunch hour. Though I guess if they have our surfing history at work they could block anything they wanted.

If I were you HB I would still cancel my cards or seek advice from the banks. My other half once left her's in Sainsburys. She returned there and got it back but soon afterwards we got a call from the bank asking if we had purchased an airline ticket from Paris to LA or ordered a shipment of shoes from somewhere in Europe.

Thanks Mick. I spoke to declan and after a brief discussion he agreed with me.

I'm afraid I can't get on this Uruguay cheated bandwagon for two reasons. Firstly the free kick awarded to Ghana that led directly to that situation wasn't a free kick and secondly Uruguay should have been awarded a penalty long before it themselves. As for allowing cheats to prosper, isn't every foul a form of cheating as you are penalised for doing it. How many times did Ghana try to get free kicks by feigning injury? Quite a few. However, the incident itself would have resulted in a goal and I agree with Mick on that point that it should be awarded in a similar fashion to the penalty try in rugby. I disagree that Ghana would have been deserved winners overall and think people may be blinded by their support of the 'underdog'. The fact is Uruguay is a country of only 4M people. Well done to them.

Anyway.......what's the solution Geek?
