  1. The point I'd would make is that these people are being paid by the council with our money (I assume you pay council tax). In any normal working environment you would expect the work to be done as efficiently as possible. If you were a plumber and we agreed you would fit a new shower for me on a Monday and told me not to use the current one in the meantime, and you didn't turn up until Wednesday, would you get many jobs if that's how you operated?I doubt it. Meanwhile I'd be very smelly.
  2. I asked Jah a question Loz relating to his comment on what Woof said. Obviously you are not a parent and for your information I am not part of any brigade.
  3. Pathetic in what sense? One can't park where one lives due to roadworks which aren't happening. Factual, I'd say.
  4. Brum, I guess you have to think of the possible affect it might have on your daughter if you did something so publicly. However, the photograph idea sounds good as no one need know it was you if you are discreet about it. Help the little one's who can't help themselves brigade, I'm for!
  5. Sorry,I just thought you were overly sarcastic. Pax.

  8. Jollybaby, I was carsick plenty of times as a child. Subsequently I was seasick lots of times. Don't hold that against your mum. Some of us are just that way.
  9. Presumably if the money WASN'T spent it could be used in the next financial year and possibly reduce our council tax in the meantime. Pratt.
  10. Oh by the way Loz, are you a parent.........or at least one who has lived with their child/children?
  11. I'm not a brigade, just a parent of a soon to be 19 year old who has his own mind. However once upon a time he was a baby and accepted whatever came his way. Giving love to whoever was there without any preconceptions. I happen to think that was something beautiful. What gives you the right to make your sarcastic comment?

Why?
  13. Hmmmm....actually Steve McLaren might not be a bad bet. He's doing it with a small club in Holland. A big club in Scotland may be a move upwards for him!

  15. Well done Woof is all I can add.
  16. Messi goal last w/end One of the best you are likely to see. Enjoy!
  17. I'd like to lend my support to cheese. Can it be elected?

Street has looked empty for a couple of days. Besides they will arrange removal of cars if owners don't do it.

I'm not complaining about parking elsewhere. That isn't the point.
  20. Well I didn't even know when the first series ended after it's winter break on chl 4 or 5. The 2nd one has been on for about 3 weeks on FX I think it's called. Presumably it will be shown from the start on 4/5 at some point.
  21. The one's near me said yesterday and still nothing has happened. A lot of cars park on this road. You'd hope they would get the timing right to minimise the inconvenience.
  22. Do you know it's recently started on TV?
  23. Are they time tunnels behind you?
