  1. Sheffield is in "the north". How ghastly.
  2. Cos what East Dulwich really needs is another curry house.
  3. Cyclists, quite rightly, don't have any precedence in a park.
  4. Another thumbs up for Rescue Remedy. It sounds like the OP needs something more effective though.
  5. The kind thing to do is to take it to a vet so that they can see if the cat is microchipped and contact the owners. Failing that, call the council, who will remove it but there's no guarantee that they'll check for a chip. I believe they are supposed to but gather that they don't always do it and then the poor owners will never know what happened.

    Bacon sandwich

Beans with a bacon sarnie is sacrilege.
  7. Theresa May. She's placed away from the lies of the Leave campaign and although I don't agree with much of what she believes, compared to the others, especially Gove, she has integrity.
  8. All set up by Vine. Does anyone believe for a second that she'd write an email like that to her husband and "accidentally" send it to the wrong person? It's the information about Dacre and Murdoch that are the clincher re Boris's downfall, obviously.

    Why?

    They're really comfy. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > edcam Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > If I were in Cathy Newman's shoes > > > Now that is creepy

    Why?

The behaviour is creepy. That was my observation. If I were in Cathy Newman's shoes I'd think so. bodsier Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Calling someone creepy is not an observation.
  11. Harridines are worth every penny. Admittedly not cheap but when we got quotes, they were cheaper than quite a few.

    Why?

    Not an attack, an observation.
  13. The events of the last week has made that all the more unlikely. kibris Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Its a shame that more people dont take pride in > there flag

    Why?

That thread is also creepy. robbin Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Why does it sound creepy? > > There's an entire thread (with over 400 postings > on it) about local celebrities being seen in > Sainsbos!

    Why?

Why are you asking this on a public forum? DO you not realise that it sounds quite creepy?

Fathers Day is a recent invention.
  17. Our HP doesn't have the problems Loz encountered but it's relatively new (about a year old), so hopefully they fixed those issues!

There are a few. We have the 5640
  19. My dear departed Dad always refused to let us do Father's Day - he loathed this celebration that was invented purely for people to make money. I agree with him now.
  20. We are very happy with our Hewlett Packard Envy. Prints really well from Mac, iPad and iPhone.
  21. I was there, straight from work. It was hugely well supported and incredibly moving.
  22. For crying out loud DF, stop being such an arsehole, especially on a thread like this. Those poor people must be frantic. 23. Great that Nick gets such good reviews here but our experience hasn't been so positive. If someone is good, it's worth waiting for them to be free but repeatedly not turning up without even a message to let you know isn't great form. If you're too busy to take a job on, then it's only polite to say so.
  24. Most of the more visible "spokespeople" on both sides are extremely offputting but the Brexit lobby have the edge in terms of ludicrous leaders. The fact that no independent observer or economist seems to think leaving the EU is a good idea has persuaded me to vote IN.
  25. I wouldn't recommend Windows 10, it's a piece of s**t and had caused me untold problems.
