  1. Don't post spoilers from the comic please!! That's why I carefully avoided saying who was killed in the comic, as they may stay faithful to it! Lisa Taylor Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well yes i think we can rule out Rick & Carl after > what Negan said about the eye, i was thinking > maybe it could be Abraham after the comment he > made but someone has told me in the comic it's > Glen??? > I hope they change it but the writers have said > its one of our beloved characters.....personally i > would assume that's 1 of the originals so now i do > think its going to be Glen or Darryl.
  2. Yes! It was tense! The makers claim that nobody, even the cast know who Lucille finished off (slightly hard to believe but it's good P.R.). I don't read comics but apparently one of the characters we know well meets their end here in the story but the tv show isn't always faithful to the source material, so anything could happen.
  3. Leases are often sold with the business as a going concern, so I don't think it's a given that the restaurant/caf? will close. I know the place has a bad rap here but I do think sometimes the forum users overestimate their influence. Personally, I used to really like the place but then their menu changed and didn't do anything for me. Subsequently, the reports of the manager's behaviour influenced me and I haven't been back but I doubt the majority of their customers are aware of any of this stuff.
  4. Penguin68, do you know for sure that it will close and it isn't being sold as a going concern?
  5. I doubt Grok is long for this forum. In the meantime though, perhaps he's best ignored.
  6. The Grok thing re Sue's gigs is indeed VERY creepy. Wouldn't be surprised if he/she is making it up though, so I'd take it with a pinch of salt(as long as you're not seasoning your baguettes on the bus Sue.)
  7. I got in a panic only yesterday, thinking I hadn't paid and was about to be heavily fined. I then discovered that I'd signed up to Direct Debit (phew) and had completely forgotten. So I strongly advise doing the same!
  8. Shall we do the one about women doing their make-up on public transport again? That did really well last time. Maybe we could do one about doing your make-up while eating a baguette.
  9. Seriously, it's one thing to read fazer's bizarre ramblings about his odd obsession with aircraft noise but now he's become an offensive troll. This forum is for the most part fairly civilised but this behaviour is unacceptable.
  10. I'd stop now if I were you fazer, you're not doing yourself any favours.

    How much !

  12. I work in Farringdon and we have quite a view over London and we frequently see chinooks over the whole of London. I imagine it's just training exercises that need regular attention and nothing out of the ordinary.
  13. Both Louisa and Dulwich Fox make daft comments (often about others and their behaviour) and then whinge when people pick them up on it. If they didn't behave in this way, nobody would criticise them. It's quite simple really.
  14. People did care about ED 20 years ago. It didn't have anything like the choice that it does now though.
  15. Train to Farringdon then tube is the least stressful option, believe me, I've tried ALL the routes!
  16. We'd like to add to the many recommendations here for Saied. He's singlehandedly (in some awful, awful weather) transformed our front garden and some of our rear garden by digging, lugging, endless trips to the dump and has done it all for a reasonable sum and with complete grace. He even broke a toe in the process (saying "well it was only one") He's a real gent and we recommend him wholeheartedly. Worth his weight in gold.

Breakfast tv is and always has been hideous. It should never be switched on before 7pm unless you are a child.
  18. Yes, Otta, we felt the same about the new relationship. Surely that must signal the end for one of them and it isn't going to be him. Good to see yet another British actor in a US TV show (Tom Payne, who plays the Jesus dude.)
  19. As much as I hate to agree with Cameron, we'd be foolish to leave. The EU is far from ideal but an isolated UK would be potentially disastrous. And as has been pointed out recently, Putin and Le Pen want us to leave, Obama and Merkel want us to stay. That pretty much says it all.
  20. Possibly the most tiresome thread in recent memory. A few people have shown their true colours and it isn't pretty.
  21. It's brilliant. We hadn't watched any until recently and binged on the whole of the first few series and now hating having to wait for a week between episodes. It's brutal but consistently very good.

I know actors better than you might imagine and this is true to a degree. But they're not public property, nobody is.
  23. alice Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > so another customer could have 'reported' this and > would've been ok? whats the difference - a shop is > a public place. Well that would have been creepy too but at least it wouldn't be unprofessional.
