Thanks Diable Rouge for the link. It's taken about 4 hours but I am now up and running with Windows 10 on a laptop 7 or 8 years old previously using Windows 7. I didn't get a prompt asking me to pay or to enter a license number.

No i don?t put any birdseed out but I?m a pretty sloppy gardener which means there?s usually quite a few plant based titbits, and the insects they attract for the birds to enjoy. The birds will be coming soon to forage for all the little twigs and stalks I haven?t bothered to clear away for them to build their nests. The best year was when a pair of magpies spent a lot of time strutting around the lawn, collecting uncut and decomposing cuttings for them to use as mortar for their nests. The long tailed tits made themselves at home on my viburnum bush. I had a pair of long tailed tits in my garden in North Cross Road a month or so ago, the first I?ve ever seen there.
