Seems ironic that democracy is suspended to enable democracy ?the will of the people?. Clearly a selective democracy.
  2. There?s nothing new about this use of so, I can remember it back in the 1980s. So why are you raising it now?
  3. Still ?3 https://eservices.landregistry.gov.uk/eservices/FindAProperty/view/QuickEnquiryInit.do?_ga=2.180525799.1559984236.1566811803-1008997731.1566811803
  4. You?re just trying to divert attention! You still haven?t answered my question, neither does the BBC film. I am aware this is off topic which is regarding the felling of oak trees in Sydenham Hill Wood so will not be posting again.
  5. Keep up Metallic! My post asked for clarification how Penguiun?s post regarding ownership of the cemeteries and church involvement was ?not factually correct? and your sources for any response. But I think you know that.
  6. Can you elucidate how Penguin68 is not factually correct? And what/who are your sources? There was a lot of false information spread by the campaigners.

BJ making an absolute tit of himself and by association the country. Jeremy Corbyn not doing much better by calling for a general election he doesn?t stand a chance of winning, in fact nobody does. I don?t like living through these interesting times.

What, no spam link to another website?
  9. Alex, that used to be called ALDLife, in Packham and other places will collect all donations. Nice people and very reliable. https://www.alextlc.org/our-shops/
  10. According to Google Streetmaps, it?s 0.7 miles from Horseguards Parade to Oxford Circus and takes 14 minutes to walk. If you?re able to, walking puts you in control.
  11. I?m not sceptical but I find the life I have at the moment sufficient enough than to want to investigate any other lives I may or may not have had in the past. I do wonder though if the hypnosis I assume you underwent for the regression may have relaxed you to such an extent to account for your calmness and better sleep you are experiencing now?
  12. There is a map (attached) of the proposed revised ED and Peckham West CPZ on page 4 of the report. This just shows the area it may cover without the details of the various types of parking.
  13. ?But really, to lower cholesterol you just need to stick to a balanced diet.? Unfortunately, some people will develop high cholesterol even if they?re on a balanced diet, their bodies will manufacture it. John L - I would say getting a blood test at 50 is a good idea. Better to get it tested before symptoms develop so if you have high cholesterol you are able to take steps to reduce it before it becomes a problem.

  15. That?s good news, but if Dulwich Estate won?t allow even an ATM in Dulwich Village, will they allow this design for a water fountain with a large blue plastic drop of water on top?
  16. Yep, seen some flying around North Cross Road
  17. ?They are trying to make Dulwich Village a food venue that people from outside the area will visit for high end food.? Really? The proposals can be found here . https://www.thedulwichestate.org.uk/media/1700/dulwich-estate-exhibition-boardsv2.pdf
  18. This is an extract from an email I received a couple of days ago from Southwark Council: ?We have had some delays in issuing garden waste bins due to shortage of stock, but expect to have any remaining orders completed in the next week or so ? we would continue to collect the brown bags normally while you are waiting for this.? You?re lucky to have the sticker - mine got lost in the post! I think there are many here who are over-reacting, possibly politically motivated, about the delay. Things don?t always go according to plan, such is life. Food and garden waste are still being collected.
  19. Of course they are and I'm not knocking the service you're offering, only your marketing technique.
  20. Firstly this post is in the wrong section, it should be in the Business section. Secondly, don't you consider your scaremongering is an "unethical" way to drum up business?
  21. ?East Dulwich Medical Centre? is not only obvious but very dull! The linked article states they are looking for a name that demonstrates a connection to Southwark?s community and history. I just hope it doesn?t become the Alleyn Medical Centre.
  22. Residents within the catchment area for the new health centre in Dulwich are being invited to send in their suggestions for naming the new health facility. https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/your-chance-to-name-new-health-centre-in-dulwich/?fbclid=IwAR2cvn6ex0K2juzr0nOKE7Jl9lIjS3YD4o17ktSvo3x2kRjQqn_hAj1Ay9Y 'Please be as creative as you like, but do bear in mind that the final name needs to be suitable for an NHS community health centre'
  23. Because, on balance, paying for a large brown bin with a sticker seems to be more straight forward than buying brown bags and then arranging for their collection. I already have the outdoor food caddie and have been using that with brown bags for garden refuse. The outdoor caddies can hold about six of the green bags. ETA When signing up on line there was an option to order a large brown bin and/or an outdoor food caddie.

  25. I'm not talking about now, I'm talking about after the next, probably imminent, general election.
