If the UK leave the EU, the EU will be weakened and it could be the beginning of the end, there are other members where the electorate would also vote to leave given the chance. So May's message to the EU is to reform to survive because Brexit means Brexit. Strategy and brinkmanship.
I first knew it as International and then Gateway and then Somerfield. Oh the joys of the Gateway cold meat counter - dry ham, luncheon meat or corned beef anyone?
People living in first, second, third etc floor flats manage to have boilers fitted. The condensate drainage pipe is generally run diagonally on the outside wall into a sink or bath downpipe and covered with a foam plastic sleeve.

While it may be true that some independents who will be in competition with M&S may have to look at their pricing, I wonder if they have to charge such high prices in order to survive. Apologies for being gloomy, but I'm getting a sense of deja vu when many independents closed when Sainsburys opened.
I have a Roku stick and highly recommend it. You can get Now TV, Amazon, Netflix, YouTube and all the terrestial catch-up channels BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Five.
Dear Louisa, always there to give us a chuckle and raise our spirits. Sela - All been said before in numerous threads. Here's a link to just one that started in 2012. It's not just Olympic athletes who've been in training these last four years. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,882800,page=1
"At break of day when that man drove away I was waiting I crossed the street to her house and she opened the door She stood there laughing I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more" More than just politically incorrect
"But I don't understand why you would think the incident would have nothing to do with that speed limit. Are you suggesting that if the limit was still 30mph this offender would have performed the same manoeuvre only at 50mph in order to get past them all?" As I understand it, the two buses were only just pulling out when the speeding car overtook and nowhere near any speed limit regardless of whether it was 20 or 30mph.

Yep, I agree, but I still couldn't resist pressing my nose against an uncovered window this morning to have a peer in. Looks larger than I thought it would be.
I would never categorise a busker as a beggar, this lady in particular is offering something that cheers our walk down Lordship Lane. Buskers do not ask for money without offering anything in return and show enterprise. Am having a bit of a Joni Mitchell moment.
I don't think the incident described by a speeding car overtaking two buses and a car at speed had anything to do with the 20mph speed limit. In fact, it could be argued that had the oncoming car that had to brake and swerve been exceeding the 20mph speed limit, which they might have been this information is not given, the outcome could have a lot more serious.
I'm torn about this. I can understand the sense of violation of people going through our rubbish BUT it seems like they're only looking for items that can be recycled / sold, not personal data and bank account details. If they can make a bob or two from items we've discarded anyway and save stuff going to landfill then there isn't really a problem ... is there?
It depends what you want to get out of it. If you just want a channel for your creativity and to put something 'out there' it's a lot of fun. If you're hoping it will have a vast amount of followers and become an authority on your chosen subject, it will take a lot of hard work to publicise through social media. It also needs a commitment to keep it up to date, I think there's something rather sad about blogs that haven't been updated in the last six months.
The lady playing the accordion is now outside the new M&S which will probably be a better site for her than outside the Coop. Really nice to hear the music.
Happy to admit I took it seriously but when it was pointed out it was not quite what it seemed (would not go so far to say it was a troll) couldn't help but notice the similarity. I was paying a compliment!
