The thing is that People did not bother to vote to stay because they thought Brexit could NEVER happen. That is why Cameron called for the referendum.. He too believed it could never happen.. and why he had to stand down. The people who voted for Brexit never thought it would happen. In the states no one beleived Trump could EVER win. He was 150/1 (money to be made there) bet Trump backed himself . Thats's how Millionaires become Billionaires Foxy

It amuses me that people who voted for Brexit are being told they should go and live in a dictatorship.. Let us remind ourselves that both the Brexit vote and Donald Trump being elected President of the USA are a result of Democracy. For some, Democracy only works if the vote goes their way.. DulwichFox

So was it people voting for Trump.. or people NOT voting for Clinton.. There was only 2 choices.. Like asking a Vegan if they want Chicken or Lamb for dinner. Foxy

Thank you for your kind concern.. .. I'm fine. can get out for shopping.. went to the pub last night.. I'm only in serious pain in the morning when the pain killers have worn off. I'm better when I keep moving . been told NOT to sit around.. These things take time to mend.. Lucky I'm retired and don't have to go to work. People here have been very kind.. Much appreciated.. Transport Police are being very cautious as to making any comment about the driver. Early days yet. Terrible incident though with tragic loss of life and injuries. People just going to work. Very sad.. These things really make you think. Foxy.

I have been advised by the Hospital and doctor to do Deep 10 Deep breaths several times a day to fully inflate the lungs.. I already have a mild chest infection. Thanks for your concern. Foxy..

Get well soon. There are some preparations that contain Naproxen (period Pain) but having asked my GP. Naproxen 250ml & 500ml is only available on prescription. It needs to be taken with a gasro protect product. I take Lansoprazol. Got an other 18 days supply of Naproxen 250ml from DMC Foxy.

Thank you for all the kind posts.. I popped in to DMC just now.. They have not recieved a discharge not from Kings but have given me an appointment for 3.15 to see the doctor so hopefully will get sorted. Thank you all once again. Foxy.

If you do get an answer it will be after the dedicated time allocated to make appointments. You can still queue at 8.00 but no appointment on the day. A telephone appointment (no time specified) will be given. The doctor will advise over the phone. don't know what happens if they need to see you. All I want is a repeat prescription. The DMC is a disgrace. ETA. What really F**** me off is if you do get an appoinment or go in there.. the place is deserted.. Foxy

How often do your frequent and support East Dulwich's restaurants?
DulwichFox replied to Mick Mac's topic in The Lounge
I was a regular at Hisar a few (5) years back.. Most Sunday afternoons after beer session. It used to be very good quality/quantity and was reasonably priced.. It did remain superior to Koz wich was dreadful... It does not seem to offer the same quality these days. (Didn't they have a change of ownership a while back) and certainly not the same value.. Very mediocre IMHO. All places seem to have highs and lows.. Perhaps I need to give it another go. just need to arrange a mortgage. :) Foxy -

No lifting, > yoga classes etc > > Try arnica cream - speeds it up. My pain is worse when I lay down / sleep. Can only lay on one side as injury is a (left) Side injury. No visible bruising. Naproxen is helping but wears off during the night so wake up in agony and cannot get back to sleep. Hospital told me to move about as usual and not to sit around. Have advised be 4-6 weeks for pain to ease. The pain is getting worse day by day. Cold spell is not helping much. Just feel like staying in, in the warm but need to keep mobile. Thank you for all replies.. DulwichFox

I had a fall at home late Friday night and hit my side on my bedside table.. All very painful. Confirmed at kings yesterday that a Rib/Ribs fractured. Initially could not feel any movement... but now rib moves/clicks when I cough .. walk. move. I have put this down to the swelling going down. Was using Ibulieve (Ibuprofen) gel and Voltarol (Diclofenac) gel with Co-codamol but now given Naproxen by the hospital. Anyone had a similar injury? How long can I expect to need pain relief ? Kings gave me only one weeks supply. Need repeat prescription from DMC but they will not give me one without seing a doctor and they do not have any appointments. Need to wait for report from hospital then go in at 8.00 and then if a doctor becomes available they will call me. What a shambles. DulwichFox

Trump is the 45th President of the USA.. He was 150/1 to win when he started out. It's what happens when you dismiss someone as a Buffoon, an Idiot, a Fool with not a snowballs chance in hell. Beware the Fool. You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to So that when they turn their backs on you, You'll get the chance to put the knife in... Dogs. Pink Floyd. Foxy

Well.. ? It's self explainitory to any pre Blair Labour suporter. Socialist. Trade Unionist.. All the things that Blair abandoned to try and make the Labour Party (Him) more electable. Corbyn is a true old labour man.. Socialist .. but it no longer fits.. He is a dinosaur. Even for me. Singing the Red Flag.. Those days have gone. There needs to be a new way. Blair made sure that 'New Labour' would destroy any chance of a return to true Labour Policies. Corbyn needs to understand that. DulwichFox

They had a Dumb-Waiter and the guy would shout out. 'HEY.. One'a Bacon'a Roll'a from'a the Kitchen. ' Geasy undercooked bacon with a thick rind on in a crasty roll. Foxy

US. Election should we be concerned who wins..?
DulwichFox replied to DulwichFox's topic in The Lounge
I just find it incredible that in the whole of the US it's come down to choosing between those two. In the States, do they have a leader of the opposition as we do in the UK. ? Will Trump still have some power if he loses. ? How does it work. ? DulwichFox. -
Should we be concerned who wins the US Election ? Does anyone here even care ? I cannot remember so much coverage about other US Elections in the past. All the Hype.. Controversy.. Back Stabbing.. Allegations. ? I don't understand UK Politics let alone US Politics. How might the result affect the UK. ? Views. ? DulwichFox
