That would cause serious traffic problems for Fellbrig and Ulverscroft roads, Whilst Fellbrigg has cut throughs to Lordship Lane, Ulverscroft has no cut throughs. Both roads are jammed on market days meaning imposible for cars to turn round. Do you expect residents to reverse 350 mtres to get out. DulwichFox

tiddles Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > no that new fence is a different shop so there are > two obstructions now. During the week no problem > but a nuisance when the market is on. The market is the problem... Most markets operate onto the road. They got the road closed off to traffic but continue trading onto the pavement. DulwichFox

The Council blow the leaves into piles which is fun for small children to trundle through.. And for dog owners to let their pooches crap in. DulwichFox

Trump seems to be expressing an Autocratic view on Abortion.. stating he is Pro Life. Well I'm not sure that is for him to decide. It is something that will always create debate. ..and I'm sure it will. As for ME. It's a Womans right to choose. DulwichFox

Well it is Autumn now coming on Winter and things are quiet, but in the Summer The Park cafe is very popular and one of those little things than many local people DO give a @#$%& about. So Malcom Tucker can do one. Often stop of there when out walking. Nothing special but a lovely spot to sit outside with tea and a cake. DulwichFox

I will have to pop in for a chat.. I speak enough Turkish to make him feel very stupid. I have done so in Turkey when insults have been aimed in my direction and I have made some comments which lets them know that I speak some Turkish.. I would of said. 'şaka yapıyor musun / musunuz?.. It means Lit.' Are you making a joke ?' Musun is casual.. Musunuz is more serious. Like 'Are you taking the piss' It is not offensive but shuts them up. I can do offensive.. -
Why would ANY Council want to charge you ?16 or even ?50 to take away your rubbish.. .. when they can fine you ?1,000+ to take it away if you fly-tip it. ? .. and all the stuff from several fly tippers in one place.. They LOVE fly tippers. They are making a fortune.. We are a nation of fines.. Foxy

When I was working I sometimes walked to The Borough.. Felt good when I arrived and less grumpy than spending 45mins on the 40 bus. The good thing about walking is it keeps you fit.. ..and once you have done it once you know exactly how long it takes you for the next time. ..So there is no stress worrying about being late. Foxy
