I had a problem some time back... I asked for a Rib-eye... got it home to find it wasn't a Rib-eye so took it back. Guy. "Yer. That's a Rib-eye. " Me. "No it's not." Woman. "That's a Rib-eye luv." Me. "Sorry it's NOT a Rib-eye" Second Guy comes over and whispers to staff. "It's a Sirloin" So they changed it very grudgingly and charged me the difference.. Some staff training would not go a miss. DulwichFox

I have not seen this place or it's location to its neighbours.. .. The petition states the garden has 30 seats.. so with 30 people chatting outside with kids running around could deem a nuisance to its close neighbours wishing to sit in their garden trying to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. Chicken Chinese Style used to be Roast Chicken with Bean Sprouts.. Also Fried Noodles seem to come with the Red Stuff. and even the Szechuan at some places.. Foxy

I have heard planes overhead but to hear them actually landing at Heathrow.. Heathrow is 20 + miles away.. You must have very acute hearing. :) Foxy..

The staff in Caf? Noodle were lovely.. They told me back in 2015 they were going due to being priced out. Rent hike.. ?? Shame as the were an alternative to Mr. Liu.. both of which a couple of minutes walk to my gaff. Caf? Noodle started closing at 10.30 so no good for late night post pub nosh.. DulwichFox

It's actually hidden away at 2 Maxted Road for anyone trying to locate the place.. There was a guy taking pictures of the outside yester day afternoon but still some work in progress. Website is nice.. Sadly due to dietary restrictions out of bounds for me... :( http://www.themelange.com/ DulwichFox -

I did say ..so Millwall a bit closer to a return to The Championship.. I think we will do it.. Yes I'll be going. It will be my 4th time at the new Wembley.. It's a great atmosphere there. Haven't seen or heard from Moonster for some time.. She's a 'Swan' now.. She don't like losing.. Millwall doing well now but don't think she will ever convert back. Shame really.. Not many other 'Wall fans here. Foxy

Well I walk past the place most nights (and during the day) It was seldom open.. People are not going to trudge down there just to find it CLOSED. So when it was open there were very few customers. I'm not surprised it closed down. DulwichFox

It will never reach the acclaim of its post war 50's status when it was a real destination shopping area. As was Brixton.. DulwichFox

Gentrification is not so much the Establishment itself but the Type of people they are trying to attract. A sort of Clientele Cleansing. Getting rid of the riff-raff. DulwichFox

Bit of a dodgy spot there... I don't think this has been an isolated incident.. They had some problem with their Cash Machines being tampered with.. DulwichFox

Occasional is the KEY word... Yes you may lose a few pounds but will put it back on requireing another Occasioal crash diet. Like a Y0-Yo. Sticking to eating regular healthy meals spaced out throughout the day is better. When you crash diet your brain tells your body to store fat which is why people find they are not losing weight as fast as they would like. If you need to lose weight it is likely you are not so healthy. It's complicated.. Lose weight slowly and your body will adjust and the weight will stay off. These weight lose regimes and products are a scam and are multi million pound businesses. Foxy
