  1. Basically.. Upper class, the immensely wealthy and/or powerful Royalty / Titled People (Lords) Middle class, managers and highly paid professionals Lawyers / Senior Police / Some Doctors / Surgeons... Super Stars / Actors Lower class, people paid average or low wages or receiving "welfare". Some are homeless. Everyone Else. I once accused a member of The Young Conservatives of being 'Working Class'. He replied " I'm not working Class. " .... " I'm unemployed. " Classic .. Fox
  2. This is NOT a 999 issue.... As I understand it, East Dulwich Police are aware of this problem. Fox.

Lordship Lane is Not part of Dulwich Village and neither is it a Village in itself. East Dulwich is Middle Class ??? What exactly does Middle Class mean. ??? I do not associate rows of Terraced Houses and a few gastro bars with being Middle Classed. You do not indicate which retail outlet you run. I do not think an M&S on the Lane will improve your situation ?? Fox.
  5. Why can't there be areas built for the purpose of Barbecues... I have seen them in the Parks in Berlin.. (Der Wannsee) Also people can have a bottle of wine or a beer with their Picnic. Just a very English thing to ban everything and raise money by imposing fines on anyone who wants to enjoy themselves and breaks petty rules.. Fox..
  6. Southwark Recycling is on Devon Street... According to Southwark WebSite.. Southwark Residents can use The Lambeth Site in Vale Street.. Proof of residency may be required. Details of Both and maps Fox...

Good Point. This is also true.. So some real good might come from the larger sales where bids are pledged. Foxy
  9. I would not worry too much about the new road surface.. Some one will be digging it up again soo to fix the Drains or Electric or Gas.. Foxy ;-)
  10. Well the signs say 26/27 May which is this coming w/e I was in the park today and the Rides (Big Wheel) was half completed.. Unless they are still taking it down from last w/e. Foxed. (?)

  12. As I understand it, runners do not automatically get to keep their Torch. They have to pay ?250 to keep it. so it is just a business transaction. Fox..

  14. Hi snowflake ... What sort of price range are you looking at.. ?? Bearing in mind her age and that items like Mobile Phones and perhaps Cameras are likely to get stolen by street robbers.. I would suggest something like Panasonic Lumix DMC-TX4... Great Picture qulity.. Review I use Nikon SLR Cameras but have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TX4 which I carry when I am out and about. There is a great range of prices for Cameras and if the lumix is out of your price range I would suggest going to Currys PC World where the have a vast range of Pocket Cameras which you can see and pick up and get a feel for... Looks upon himself as you say like a Banksy... It will continue until people here ignore it.. I'm certain this Creep will be monitoring this site.. Fox.

Thanks.. Left BT in 1993 Not much Broadband around then. :) Worked for Mercury Comms , Cable and Wireless, Nortel Networks But not on Internet services. So bit of a grey area for me. Was involved with Switch Maintenence. System X. DMS. Nokia. AXE10. Left Telecomms in 2008. Never to return. Fox

BT assured me that switching to Infinity would illiminate any problems with reliability I was having. But having worked in Telecoms for 40 years,(BT 26 Years) I was aware that was not very likely. ASDL and Infinity are just delivery Systems. I would assume they use the same Terminating Equipment at the Exchange. ? Fox..
  18. I currently get just under 3Mbt/s. Which suits my needs as I do not download Music or Films... I have got faster speeds at some Wi-Fi sites. I also like having full control over my Router, as I need to be able to control which Ports are Open. to allow remote Access to My Home Cloud, WAMP Server and any IP Cameras installed. BT were not able to confirm if such control is available on their Home Hub. Sales person calling me was not Technical. So as it stands have not Opted for Infinity 1/2 Fox.
  19. Thanks for the feedback folks... I Totaly agree with Pickle ... broadband increasingly unreliable, which coincides with lots of marketing calls BT are promising Broadband speeds far higher than feasable.. 20mb/s - 40mb/s delivered by 2 wire copper from Telegraph Pole.. ??? Fox Former BT employee...
  20. I lost my BT Broardband this morning. 08.30 - 9.00am Anybody else in E.D. experience any problems.. Would seem unlikely to be just my line. Fox..

  22. I would advise him not to resign. That may affect his benefits ??? Let them fire him. They will need to give a reason. 'Handle his workload without help of others' ?? If he is in a probation period, is he getting training ?? Does he have a contract laying out what is expected of him. ?? Tell him to hold on in there. Fox.
  23. First Post on EDF. ?? Very professional script.... ?? Looks like a Direct advert from 'CheapestkitchensintheWorld.co.uk' to me Blackpool based Company.. Not East Dulwich Fox
  24. Ms B Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > 'Theatre' of war. Nothing to do with suggesting Theatre in the sense of entertainment.. In warfare, a theater, is an area or place in which important military events occur or are progressing. A theater can include the entirety of the air, land, and sea area that is or that may potentially become involved in war operations. Theatre of War Fox
