  1. It would seem logical to me that to have a dog, you may well have a garden. I appreciate that may not always be the case. The point I would like to make is.. Let your dog do it's business in your garden before you take it out to the park. That way we would see less poo on our pavements and in our parks. Not to much to ask. And before people say they cannot tell when their dog wants to go. I understand the main reason people take their dogs out is not for exercise but indeed to do their business. Appologies to those who have no garden. and pick up their pets poo and dispose in the bins provided.

The ones that the Big Farmers virtually have to Throw away / Give away. They taste the same. nothing wrong with them, but they charge twice as much as the supermarkets. It's a Trendy thing. The E.D. Snob Element. Like. O' I never use the supermarkets, I only by localy produced goods.. Like eerrh Dates, Pineapples, Kiwi Fruit, Mangoes. Italian Salami, French Cheeses, Greek olives.. I'm bored now..

I've seen them.. See pics.. Southwark Council say it is so Cyclists can mount/dismount the pavement and use the nearby crossing. For Fox Sake.
  4. Not seen this new development.. But was thinking.. mmmhh What happens if a Bus or Lorry breaks down..?? Sounds like there would be total choas... Diversions ... Tailbacks up Lordship Lane.. Well I am an engineer and have a logical mind... not so Southwark Council. ?? After all roads were built to drive on. For Fox Sake.
  5. Not Many people have ever seen a baby pigeon.. That is because they do not leave the nest until they are almost adult size. http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSSB0bstlYf7GvmJHoVmvPZA9-yLK5KaKtqPDSew0eiDzXQsuI5 Here are some tips on how to care for a baby pigeon.. Here
  6. Fruit & Veg ? Compitition is good.. Any Good GreenGrocer should not be sfraid of compitition. Plenty of Curry shop compitition. most seem to be doing well. People do have their favourites.
  7. Spending money on these Congestion Generating Schemes is a disgrace. What is worse is the money spent on paying people to design these schemes. Little minded people who sit at Computer Screens Designing hare brain road plans. They have no concept of the overall picture.
  8. Found this Chair ?? on North Cross Road http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6086/6058890701_7f39a27572_m.jpg Thought ?15 - ?20.. Then thought No, This is North Cross Road Probably more like ?30 - ?40. ?50. ??? Then I looked at the price tag.. ?120.00 Over Priced Tat.. ??? I rest my case..
  9. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > But Fox, it isn't a fruit and veg market! East Street Market is not a fruit and veg market. but has fruit and veg stalls... You miss my point... It was to demonstrate a sense of pride Market Traders can show.. There seems to be no attempt in NCR market to demonstrate such sense of Pride. I really don't have any real problems with the Market. It is what it might become if not monitored carefully. Where are the Fly-Boys doing the 'Find The Lady' trick ? every proper market has one of those. ;-)
  10. There is nothing wrong with expensive stalls if goods being sold are worth the prices being charged. There will always be people with more money than sense. There are no stalls there that sell essentials.. This is what a Market Stall should look like.. http://stockfood.com/images-pictures/A%20market%20stall%20with%20fruit%20and%20vegetables%20(Mercat%20de%20St.%20Josep%20(Boqueria),%20Las%20Ramblas,%20Barcelona,%20Spain)-295874.jpg Real Pride shown here..
  11. Hi KPR.. Yes it can be difficult no matter how long you have been driving as your position is constantly changing. You need to look straight ahead of you and emagine there is a gap you have to get through. If you look to your left at the parked cars, you will drift into them... That is why your instructor is constantly telling me to move over. You need to adjust this when there is another car coming towards you. On a main road there will generally be enough space for you to pass. On a back street it is always best to slow right down to a crawl or even stop to let the other driver to pass. Just watch those wing mirrors... Spacial awareness does come second nature eventually. Good Luck with your driving and your test. Fox
  12. Hi Bob.. A mail loop occurs when two accounts are forwarding to each other. If you forward your emails to some other account and your other email account forwards back to your account, the same email could be sent back and forth forever. When any system detects a mail loop, it deliberately bounce the message to break the cycle. Check any mail forwarding you have set up.. Fox
  13. Perhaps I should just set up my own stall or stalls.. I have enough Books mainly Technical but also novels for a Book Stall.. I have enough Computer Accesories / Cables / PCIs / Sound/Graphics Boards / Flat screens Etc for a Computer Stall. Plus I can service PCs I have enough Photographs / Frames / Mounts / For a Photographic Stall. Plus I can cut photo mounts and frame up Pictures up to A3+. I have enough Tat for a Tat Stall. But I live just off of the market and there is no prefrence for locals when it comes to obtaining a pitch.. Even though there is supposed to be places available.

The smell just puts me off. > Must be dreadful living right on N C Rd." > > Bitter old man springs to mind .... Cannot see where I said any that in this thread.. You seem to have taken a post from another thread which was primarily about empty shops.. ?? Which places it totally of of contex. My posting here was in response to people questioning lack of stalls.. Why have you not listed my comments from all my posts. You seem to have enough time on your hands.. Bitter Old man you say... "Everyday you get a little bit older and a little bit wiser.."
  15. The lack of atalls is due to the fact that most people are Browsers or passers-by who not actually buy anything. The only thing I have ever bought from the market was a 45 single record. Most of the stuff on sale is over priced Tat. Fine if you want to spend ?10.00 - ?20.00 for an old OXO tin Most of the food I.E Cheese , Sausage , Deli Unrefridgerated. People are coming to their sences and no longer buying.. Stall holders need to smarten up or go out of business. If stall holders cannot be bothered to turn out they should lose their license. If there is a lack of stalls in the summer, cannot emagine it will pick up as the weather turns colder. PS. The only decent trader is the Photographer Neil Williams.. Great Photos..

  22. Do not use a Vaccumm cleaner. it is far to powerfull and could damage the fan. Also can generate high levels of static which could damage sensitive conponets in your laptop.
