    As is well with the World - Adebayor says he is staying - again! Looking forward to the Emirates Cup this weekend - Juve today and Real Madrid tomorrow - both on Sky at 4pm. WIth McClaren in charge of FC Twente I would hope that his team won't cause us too much trouble!

    There is indeed a footpath which goes past the artificial football pitch and takes you onto the cycle path. If you turn left it will bring you out onto East Dulwich Grove near Jags. PM me when you arrive and I will give you a tour! I live near the football club too.

    I can also highly recommend Shauns DIY shop (used to be Terrys) they are very helpful and go out of their way to order things in that they don't stock.

    If you look closer you will see a couple of newsagents, a bakery, a shoe repairers and a dry cleaners. I don't recall any dirty kebab shops or bookies on that stretch?

    I went a couple of weeks ago - quiche and salad - quiche was cheap shop bought - salad average. Friends had burger and chps - looked like the best option

    If you like a musical I can highly recommend "They're playing our song" at the Menier Theatre. Cast includes Alastair McGowan and Connie Fisher (ex Maria, Sound of Music). Loosely based on relationship between Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Seger.
