As a Cadet, you?ll take part in a full and interactive programme, working towards your Grand Prior Award and volunteering at events. You can: ? learn first aid skills ? volunteer within your community by providing first aid cover at public events, such as football matches and music festivals ? learn leadership and public speaking skills by teaching first aid to other young people ? spend time on weekend residential camps packed with activities, and have the opportunity to compete in international first aid competitions. Where to buy toddlers' shoes?
Dulwich Born And Bred replied to DulwichLondoner's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Best shoes shop ever is Dorothy. She used to have a shop in Dulwich but is a direct bus to Dartmouth Road (Sydenham). https://www.facebook.com/Emmanuelle-Marshall-Childrens-Shoes-164994916895441/ We park around the corner. -

Seconded Farmdrop they are brilliant . Failing that I get an Ocado grocery delivery and they have a huge organic selection. Isn't Franklin's Farm Shop organic too ? -
You can Home Educate at any age. There is a huge Home Ed community in South East London, we even have our own sport day every summer at Crystal Palace Park. There are various Home Ed social and study groups , they are at Dog Kennel Hill Adventure Playground , East Dulwich Community Centre on Darrell Road, Dulwich Scout Hut , Robotic Engineering at Albrighton Road and so on. We have ice skating classes too , the list is endless . There are various active community pages on FB reflecting the large HE community whereby educational trips are organised weekly , summer holiday camps and so on . There are so many drop off study groups too where the children can study in groups of 6 or less . Some families follow the national curriculum , some are more free flowing , some have private tuitions , some attend the Home Ed school at Peckham Rye Park. Any other questions , let me know . Sweet sanctuary ... what is it ?
Dulwich Born And Bred replied to Dulwich Born And Bred's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thank you . It's never open when I'm there. -
Has anyone been in ? What is it ? As it didn't look like a sweet shop as per the original rumours when I walked by ( doesn't appear to be open whenever I've passed by ). I have no idea what the shop is supposed to be though.

Subway coming to Lordship Lane
Dulwich Born And Bred replied to Louisa's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I was more referring to Badgers Bakery , Truly Scrumptious Bakery, BlackBirds and the greasy spoons whereby you can grab a sandwich . Subway coming to Lordship Lane
Dulwich Born And Bred replied to Louisa's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Never ever been tempted to try Subway, would rather grab a sandwich from M&S. I can't see it succeeding personally given all the other tastier places to eat on the lane with our cafes and bakeries but hey ho . -
How to get to the British Museum?
Dulwich Born And Bred posted a topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, I have to go to The British Museum, Great Russell Street, London, WC1B 3DG this week but it looks very complicated to get to . Which is the quickest way to get there minus using the tube? Thanking you in advance . -
I only know of Milk and More who deliver . Alternatively Fruit and Vegs Delivery Schemes like Farmdrop will deliver milk along with your other goods and they tend to get their supplies directly from the farm .

This made me laugh !😃 You are right .... Who cares ?! Toffee Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > FFS stop this thread. The co-op is the co-op, M&S > is M&S. I'm not into ready meals at all , I buy fresh from Ocado/Waitrose plus Fruit/Vegs Box schemes . Co-Op to me is rank . I don't like any of their food from the fresh produces to the packaged stuff . I've always wondered how they stay in business but as they are the 'main' supermarket on the Lane most of us end up in Co-Op regardless . I have popped in M&S twice , and I have found the food to be really tasty which was a pleasant surprise . I'd happily pay more to eat their products if it's a choice between them or Co-Op. It's a great stop gap for me inbetween my Ocado deliveries . If only Waitrose would buy out Co-Op.......
