  1. Totally agree with this. sputnick Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think there is always going to be more parking > pressure on roads near to a train station. 2. My road is on there and there is always a parking space. I?m against CPZ. worldwiser Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Crawthew Grove, Frogley Road, Archdale Road, > Crystal Palace Road, North Cross Road, Nutfield > Road, Spurling Road, Matham Grove.. that's just > for starters!
  3. I?ve lost a gold bracelet today in Dulwich along LL, Dulwich Picturehouse, Ondine and Matham Grove. If you see a gold bracelet please PM me. Thank you.
  4. No planning permission needed by anyone on my road and a fair few of us have bike sheds!
  5. Blendtec and Vitamix are good too.
  6. My posts all arrived on time and I had no issues whatsoever. I always required a redelivery if I ever miss a parcel. Over Christmas there were temporary staff helping out and I didn?t get some of my posts until 4-5pm instead of the mornings but I didn?t have any issues at all with missing posts.

  8. I am half black and I describe black people as black people. Black people call themselves black too. Fancy that. Are we racist to ourselves? But obviously More details would be helpful in the sense of clothes, height, any distinguishing marks? So that we know who to look out for. I hope they are caught soon before they do this to someone else.
  9. I was at the bus stop today and he was there. A lovely chap offered him food, he refused and said he needed cash.
  10. Sorry for the loss of your father James. You have been a source of great support to me when I needed it. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.
  11. Anything Dulwich related isn't junk mail to me and I like my SE22 magazine etc. I just don't like all the fast food flyers and the likes. 12. I'm in a lot of the times when I get cold callers. My living room faces the front so I see when people come to my door and walk away without ringing the bell/knocking which means that they must have read my sign hence not bothering me and I see the ones who do ring despite the sign. That is what I'm basing it on. Obviously I could be wrong but given that the majority I have seen come to my door and either ring my bell or way away I'm inclined to believe that it doesn't deter most of them. nxjen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Alan Medic Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > > You can't actually tell how well it works > surely? > > > > > > DulwichBorn&Bred Wrote: > > > -------------------------------------------------- > > > ----- > > > It doesn't work 50 percent of the time as > > people > > > still knock on the door. > > > > > > > > > > I'm with AM here. 13. I have a child as well so them knocking on the door in the evenings was annoying me hence the sign.
  14. Yes, I have one of the letterbox saying 'No Junk Mail' I still get junk mail. I'm often in when I get cold callers, I just ignore the door after peeping through the spyhole or looking out of the window, that is how I know they visited two times yesterday. I see no point in opening the door just to say 'Thanks but no thanks as I can use the Internet if I want to change suppliers/have a fruit box/buy fish etc'. 15. It doesn't work 50 percent of the time as people still knock on the door. Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Love to know what else it says on your door.
  16. They knocked my door two times. I ignored as they clearly cannot read since the sign on my door says 'No Salesperson' among other things.
  17. A parcel from Amazon was delivered to my address but the named person has never resided here. I did post it back to Amazon stating that it's the wrong address but they have sent a new parcel for Robert Clifford to my address again. Please get in touch if this is you or you know him. Thanks.
  18. 176 to Sydenham? http://wearaboutsschoolwear.co.uk/epages/BT0289.mobile/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT0289
  19. What is the old Mac and Miller going to be?
  20. Ha! I was one of those girls wearing the red jumpers,my friends and I were a lovely bunch but I'll be the first to admit that were some rough scary girls at Waverley. When my mum used to pop to the shop (where St Christopher's shop next to the cafe is) to pay off for our new beds. When we used to get videos from Blockbusters. When the Offie man on the corner of Landells Road/Lordship Lane would sell us booze even though we were underage. When Hisar was Yilmaz and was constantly visited by the police. When Waverley School used to have a swimming pool. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It was ther Waverley uniform.
