Keith Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > A friend is looking for a pet shop to supply her > "house rabbits". > > I'm still wondering what the difference between > indoor and outdoor rabbits are! theres no difference to indoor or outdoor rabbits, its just where you decide to keep them when you buy them.i got one last year and because he was bought from the pet shop in january we were,nt allowed to put him outside as his winter coat was,nt developed, so he lived in his hutch in the house until the summer. he was allowed to hop about the place and we were able to believe it or not litter train him so that i was,nt walking around picking up crap all the time. only problem was it would eat anything nailed down or not,i still dont know how it is still alive as one day while washing the dishes and listening to the radio it suddenly went off,the rabbit had chewed through the live flex.however he now lives out in the garden and spent the whole winter there without any probs, has a nice big run to hop about in and keep foxyloxy away. -

compared to what it used to be like the present somerfield is shopping heaven.as for checkouts never being open its a feature of all supermarkets, remember the tesco fiasco of a few years ago,ie one person in front of you and we,ll open a new checkout, they soon put a stop to that one.they,re all the same supermarkets, banks, post offices etc, loads of serving points but never enough open to cope with demand.

surely if you contact london transport they must have a rota of drivers working that route and at that particular time,he might have seen heard something.

you think ed is bad,i went to calais last weekend to fill up the old cellar, you could hardly place your feet for the amount of dog crap on the ground and that was in the town centre.i know ed is hardly crap free but compared to calais it was nothing,it really put me off going back there. by the way first time on the shuttle fantastic, knocks spots off the ferry.

times a change and for someone who has been away for so long it can come as a shock, but as an ed resident for 17 years i have seen it change for the better.ed was never a no go area but certainly some of the pubs left a lot to be desired, the vale in its many incarnations as the manor and the hamlet was a rough old joint full of irish builders,i still vividly remember the night a bloke was stabbed no more than 4 feet from me in the lounge and for those that remember the owner was forced to flee to ireland in 98/99 following a mulit-million tax scam. as for the edt,it used to be in two halfs a lounge and bar with a dividing door in between, walk in to the wrong side on the wrong night and you would be taking your life in your hands. we have sainsburys and a new somerfield which while not to everyones taste or possible standard is a major improvement on what we had,and as for the various delis, coffe houses ,cafes etc and drinking establishments well where would we be without them.there are three large areas of green space to take advantage off, a reasonably low crime rate and judging from the contributions on this site a caring and responsible population.so all in all compared to what ed could be like i for one think we live in a pretty decent area.

This White Stuff place looks > awful - dull clothes for people with more money > than taste. I hope I'm wrong though. you,re not wrong i,ve just spend the weekend in whitstable kent, very pretty quaint old seaside town.but in what i would call the arty end of town there is a white stuff, never come across one before so after hearing it being dissed to the eyeballs i thought i,d better pop my head in.its bascially a clone of gap selling overpriced denims and wollens in various shades of brown,i must admit there was some nice stuff there but it was on the whole uninspiring.saying that despite the dissing there will def be a market for it in ed.

they are all the same, you ring,if you,re lucky you get a same day appointment.you then sit with screaming babies apologetic mothers and the generally great unwashed thumbing through a 4 week old copy of bella and probably picking up more bugs from it than you had when you first arrived in the surgery, waiting for your 3 mins with the gp who utters well rehearsed words of advice, may or may not issue a script depending on how benevolent he/she is feeling, and tells you to come back next week if there is no improvement.my advice pick the one nearest your home at least theres less distance to drag your misery back home to.
