  16. sean og got the ref through the power of google, without that kirk brandon to me sounded like an extra in a straight to dvd sci-fi film.
  17. no spear chucking here sean og,merely a title to describe my travels and nothing else.
  18. i dont tend to fly on them myself as a rule, cant stand the whole scrum aspect of getting a decent seat etc and paying over the odds for food and drink, but as it was soooooo cheap i thought what the hell.the better half is well pleased espically at the thought of a long weekend in la rochelle in early july, right im off to expedia got hotels to book.
  19. dont worry dm, i,ll be back. ryanair are giving away 1 million free seats but they,re most likely all gone as promo running for several days now,i got mine right at the start.you need to be careful though as they have hidden extras added on like insurance etc and fees for checking in bags. as i got the flights for nought i thought id splash out and get priority boarding, got to have my window seat.
  20. well have you all got your free ryanair flights yet. im off to la rochelle in july, eindhoven in sept and dusseldorf in october all for the princely sum of ?24.12 for me and the missus.happy days.

  22. i personally think its time our posties were armed.
  23. great article in the guardian several weeks ago about wine and the prices we pay for them.basically you get what you pay for. the crux of the matter being pointed out by an "insider" is that if you see a wine reduced from 6.99 to 3.99 one naturally assumes its a great bargain but the likelihood is that the wine was only a 3.99 wine in the first place. the advice was go for what you can afford or know about rather than searching out so called bargains and you wont go far wrong ie pay a couple of quid expect vinegar, pay a couple more and you might hit a decent bin. personally after bottle no.2 it all tastes the same to me anyway, but alexweb im a red wine drinker and imho i always look out for cote de roussillon(villages) comes from the languedoc region of france and never fails to hit the spot.sante.
  24. still got time for auf wiedersehen pet,got the whole lot on dvd, post pub classic.
