  1. Why is there do little information about this?
  2. ... that said, it's nothing to do with people working Part-time - it's just inadequate capacity.

It is not always possible to get an appointment with a GP and the lister centre (as I understand it) is no longer a walk in. There is Seldoc (thank goodness) which I have had to rely on in an emergency before, but generally the GP service is completely inadequate in terms of capacity. It's no good pretending that the problem doesn't exist.
  4. I would like some of the things that exist in North, East, West, Soutwest and Central London. Namely, some tube stations, boris bikes, a segregated superhighway. Barring that, just a secure indoor bike park at Brixton tube (Like the one in Finsbury park), or some reliable trains run in the interests of Londoners and not for Kent commuters. Or barring that, some attempt to at least maintain the current bus services. Or barring that, just less interference with the remaining option of private transport. (but I suspect we get lot's of interference with the latter and none of the former)

  6. Thanks folks. I have booked somewhere now, but thanks for the recommendations.
  7. It is weird. If you look at the tube map, the cycle superhighway map and the Hirebike map, they all look the same. they all have SE London missing from them.
  8. There seems to have been quite a random approach to the 'lining' of corners, with some done and some not. None of them appear to be being enforced. Did this really cost 1.7m, or is that for the proposed 'Soutwark Spine'? How about bring Boris Bikes to Southwark, or creating a secure bike park at Brixton like they have at Finsbury Park? How about a Cycle Superhighway in SE London?
  9. I do worry about the lack of police. The riots exposed how thing the 'thin blue line' really is and there are a lot less police now, where there to be a replay of what happened then.
  10. Hello. Can anyone recommend a mid priced restaurant near to London Bridge station please? Thanks
  11. They?re now sayin 12:30 - 13:00
  12. Unreliable public transport, postal services that appear to be broken, water outages and powercuts. Stop mucking about with Brexit and just ensure basic services are run competently. [this concludes my rant]
  13. They?re now saying 8 O?clock. Can?t shower, again.
  14. Had it confirmed... large powercut in the area. Should be back on by 7. Hot on the heels of the water disruption one has to wonder what the problem is.
  15. Anyone else experiencing a powercut?
  16. Anywhere on bus if you're heading into central london. Just takes too long. Public transport generally, is pretty poor. Trains are fine when they run, but they tend to be irregular outside of rush hour, and not particularly reliable.
  17. Where is the library going to be? Is it behind the M&S?
  18. East Dulwich to London Bridge, then get one of the many Thameslink trains running to St Pancras from Platform 5. A little slower than direct train from Denmark hill, but much more reliable and pleasant. Otherwise, cycle to Brixton and get the tube, or cycle all the way.
  19. It's the lack of communication that annoys me. I signed up to the SMS service and didn't receive a single update / text. Water supply was OK yesterday and early this morning - then stopped. Apparently this is because they decided to flush the system, without warning, as everyone was getting ready for work. Genius.
  20. This is pretty unacceptable. It?s been going on too long now.
  21. No water upstairs in Heber. A trickle downstairs.

It's just more public space being privatised.
  23. It?s a nice, historic building. Seems a shame to knock it down.

It could work, but more profitable as flats. Hence it?s being allowed to deteriorate to the point where people are begging for it to be knocked down.
