Yeah, of course, so why the silly name.
  2. What is the price per square foot for sheds?
  3. Its a shed!
  4. Operation Big Wing Day, does sound a bit silly though. Sounds like it's just, 'talking to the parents of some badly behaved kids' - or 'doing the job of a community policeman'

  7. Frankly, even if they are hanging around in the stair wells drinking, I can see how residents may not like it. I know it's difficult for kids to find places to go, but the stair well of a block of flats doesn't seem a particularly smart choice.

  10. Nikki66 - I feel for you and your family, it must be really difficult to come to terms with something like this. Thoughts are with you.
  11. @Otta - yeah, you're right, it is *mainly* just people having a laugh, but then I remember growing up in a small town where looking a bit different would get you a hard time. Never understood why people cared how others choose to look / live - so perhaps I do have a bit of a humour deficit with this kind of thing. Just reminds me of the kind of parochialism to which London (to my young mind) represented an escape.
  12. Eh? Who?
  13. I couldn't care less how somebody chooses to dress. If pushed to have an opinion on it, I probably prefer to see people taking risks with how they look, having fun with clothes and being creative. I know...Inevitably people will say "but they're all the same, they're clones", but for a group of people to be different enough as to be clearly identifiable as such, they clearly aren't. It also assumes that those levelling the criticism aren't a like themselves, when quite clearly, by being 'other', they are. Basically, what I'm trying to say (perhaps not very eloquently), is why disparage people for the way they dress? Especially, if they're doing it in a thoughtful, joyful manner (even perhaps with a little irony)?
  14. .. unless it's a book about day-glo colours.
  15. I like eating chips #chipster
  16. Look, it's clear that if you have an appointment you should keep it, or else cancel it. Let's not be distracted about the real issues here. DMC has problems which go far beyond bad behaviour by a small number of patients.
  17. It depends how it was done, the surface etc, etc. At face value, it doesn't sound good, but needs to be viewed in context. I would get as much info as possible from the grandparents and then, if you're still concerned, speak with the nursery. Must admit, I'm surprised to learn of the existence of 'NurseryCam'.
  18. First step - stop taking on more patients until you have increased capacity / addressed service issues.

It's a bit insulting to all those queued up next to it hoping to be seen by a Dr, when the chances are that they'll be referred to the Peckham drop in centre.
  21. I like the occasional lager (ice cold on a hot day - perfect), but love the variety of craft and real ales. It's just good to have so much genuine variety. Most of the mass market largers just taste the same - pretty fizzy and bland.
  22. I agree the Young Vic isn't a bad place to go for a bite and a few drinks. the Hope and Anchor is good. Also the King's Arms on (near?) Roupel Street does OK Thai food and is a nice pub more generally.
  23. It does seem pretty remarkable that crossing have been dotted all along Lordship Lane, except for in the one place where they're really needed (this junction). I don't get it. I hate crossing the road there.
  24. Canteen, The Green Room OK. There is a new place underneath the NT which 'looks' OK. Depends what you like.
  25. Perhaps this is why the Natural History Museum is getting rid of their dinosaur skeleton. Bloody bad influence those dinosaurs.
