  1. It's the Food (Promotion and Placement) England Regulations 2021 that came into effect 1/10/22, Ianr
  2. Don't forget to add extras like regular serving costs to your consideration. I'm a bit biased, we had so much trouble with ours that I'd never have them installed again.
  3. I read on Sunday that the product moving is not the supermarket's fault (so a small apology to Sainsburys). New gov. regs. say that "unhealthy" foods must be a minimum distance from the checkout. The regs. are impenetrable, as you might expect and are causing confusion and extra work. For instance, coco-pops are OK but most mueslis are not. The lack of certain products, the shortage of working tills, the difficulties in getting round the store because of all the staff loading up for deliveries, no trolleys sometimes, is not the Govs fault though
  4. Great journey back from Peckham
  5. They seem to be experimenting with how few staff, how random a product availability and how few working terminals are needed to run a store. And why was the car park full this morning but the shop as empty as usual? Hiring out the spaces? What do customers matter, after all
  6. Totally agree with Whoeveritis it is about the receptionists at DMC. Prizewinningly rude on occasion. As for the GPs there, so difficult to see one that I can't offer an opinion
  7. Today's paper said he might be moving to Herne Hill
  8. Had a large delivery on Tuesday (on Worlingham) having had nothing for over a week.
  9. Don;t bother with the one on Crystal palace Rd. Used to be good, but now pretty dreadful
  10. More traffic on LL too, caused by "traffic calming" road closures
  11. I wouldn't think that he's entitled to anything just because he hasn't used all the days he's paying for. The contract didn't say "X nights a week" giving him the option of when to take those nights. If I bought a box of chocolates and didn't eat them all, I wouldn't expect Sainsburys to refund me or provide fresh ones in replacment
  12. Just seen a lovely kitchen from Wrens
  13. Our phone was down for two weeks until yesterday when, after hours on the phone and net we managed to persuade Virgin that there was something wrong with it. Because of an "Upgrade" locally a engineer should have come to the house to finish the job but, of course, never did. The engineer who came yesterday said this had been happening all over the area I could express my opinion of Virgin, but it would be a waste of time
  14. Oue virgin phone has been down for over a week, They insist there's nothing wrong
  15. Went to Shannon's today and it's almost empty, not really worth visiting now. A shame it's closing
  16. Our Tuesday collection now seems to come on Wednesday
  17. Does anyone know if we have any poisonous spiders in ED? A few days ago while I was tidying the garden something bit/stung my finger. It was absolute agony. I've had wasp/bee/ant stings but nothing like this. Now that the worst of the swelling has gone down I can see two puncture marks and I'm wondering about a spider? I'd like to know what it was (if only to jump on it)
  18. I put them outside, as gabys1st most of them will go and it's a nice find for anyone who wants one (and let us all know where and when)
  19. One just jumped down into our garden, which was a surprise!
  20. No leaflets. one visit from Labour
  21. The blisterpack recycling was empty this week in Cambernwell. but I have known it get completely full, so it's a bit it and miss whether you could fit a lot in
  22. Don't waste your breath. Lebanums. According to their owners,no dog ever did anything wrong.
  23. Superdrug in Camberwell takes blister packs
  24. Fairly sure it wasn't a bird. It came quite close to where we were standing
  25. Saw a bat flying round and round the pond on the Rye as about 4.30. which I thought was a bit early?
