Hi All, I am 38 weeks tomorrow, and my baby is still breech, went for an ECV on Friday (which was awful) and didn't work. I am now scheduled in for a c-section on the 2nd August. I kept thinking the baby would move just in time...appears that they are just too comfortable! I have gone full circle, from planning a homebirth and all things natural to surgery and a stay in hospital. I am disappointed but know that essentially it is out of my hands, and it is the best thing for baby. I just want some reassurance really, that it isn't so bad... So any positive stories, things that would have made your stay at king's better perhaps? Thankyou in advance

I am still up for this meet because I am going to be a first time mummy too and it's in the diary! Makes sense to stick to this plan. I have commented on the summer babies thread too, maybe in time we could combine the two? But for now meeting of an evening and without other babies would be more manageable for me with work and less daunting! -

Changing Bags - recommendations???

I am having to make the same decision! Although I do have until August! I like these a lot: http://www.pinklining.co.uk/shop/aw09/changing-bags/yummy-mummys/ there are more versions to if you have a browse around john lewis. Also I quite like the Cath Kidston bags: http://www.johnlewis.com/230742053/Product.aspx?source=14798 but they are quite girly... And there is the whole dilemma of whether it 'goes' with the pushchair!! :) -

Hi All, Looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday! Went away to Cyprus for the week, and wasn't sure I would be back in time what with the volcano fiasco, but touched down this morning! :) -

Hi All, Just though I would put in a couple of dates that I can make and see if they were free for anybody else too! Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th April. We are not going to be doing NCT classes, so would quite like to meet some people having babies around the same time as us! -
We found out! (but I am not saying!) Lillyanginger - your post pretty much sums up how we feel/felt, however my partner and I could discuss names all day long!

All sounds great, I might try the class out next week anna_r. I am off on holiday on the 14th April for 2 weeks, so couldn't do wither day you suggested Knomester! Typical - completely happy to join the next time though. Would definitely be great to meet up at some point, possibly building up a mini mum and baby network! -

How about a Tueday Lunchtime? so that sanity girl could come too? BAM - My first and I am due on the 9th August! xx -
I am just over the 5 months stage in my pregnancy and would be really interested in meeting up with other people who are expecting their bundle of joy soon too! This is our first baby and is due at the beginning of August. I work from home Mondays and Tuesdays so these are best for me, but can be flexible. Look forward to hearing from you!

It is all so exciting! Thank you for all reponses and I will keep you posted!!

Hi everyone! Should we find out if it is a Boy or a Girl?! This is meant to be light-hearted fun really, but I would also like to hear people's preferences just out of curiousity! Before I was pregnant I always said to anybody pregnant "it is much better left a surprise" "you are ruining your special labour day" and so on! Now I am pregnant and have spent about 8 weeks dying to know! Now my scan is just around the corner and I have had a sudden change of heart ... just thinking about how even more special it will be if we wait until our baby is born! My other half is 60/40 for not finding out but will go along with whatever I want! I know this is completely personal and to be honest I am about 90% sure we will not find out now! We don't mind if it is a boy or a girl at all - so with no preference what is the need to know?! Did anybody else have such a dilemma?! **Edit for poor spelling**
