Have you tried bookmarking once logged in? If that doesn't work you possibly have a 'don't remember this password' setting on browser. If on Mozilla go to options, security, and tick 'remember passwords for sites' box
  5. Sounds good jenf - love the idea of a take-away keg-filled flagon/growler; let us know the opening date when you fix it.
  6. Just googled - HOP (beer) BURNS (Chillies) & BLACK (vinyl records) That's three likes and a roused curiosity.
  7. Am approaching the middle of my 3rd week with this little git - not debilitating just annoying. Hacking cough and that feeling that a dessert spoonful of phlegm is stuck to the inside of your chest so you try to hack it off - it comes back moments after you nearly herniate moving the sucker. Gave up smoking 2 and half years back and this is worse cough since then. combatting with honey, lemon, ginger in hot water, vapour rub, olbas oil, lots of garlic and chillies in food and the occasional top-shelf lovely.
  8. Good to know - have you got a product/price list and/or website?

Not even the friends-of-Robbie-Savage brigade (see above Otta) can spoil this B)- but ManC were pretty poor 1st half - Aguero to get a retrospective ban?

Does this coincide with more Sports Direct outlets to open in Glasgow?

Looks like an On-The-Waterfront Brando crossed with BurtReynolds and John Belushi attempting an early Neil Diamond impression whilst touching-cloth.

For once I'm saying nothing - except that I agree with what Quids and EP said. And that I wonder if things would have turned out the same if Carroll (and later Nolan) hadn't been injured and whether aerial tactics will resume once Carroll returns in a couple of weeks or so. On past experience we only need to get mullahed once for BFS to revert to type.

With a strip light, tiled floor and no access to the bar except back through the corridor where the Gents is (the ladies is in a corner of the lounge). There's bottles of Manns Brown, Stingo and bottles of Harp and Light Ale (possibly DD) so mixed pints (60/40, Light n' Bitter, Light n' Lager, Black n' Tan, Mickey Mouse etc.) can be enjoyed, and rows of warm baby mixers sitting in half an inch of water on a broken zinc cold shelf. The tv (on rent from Rediffusion) has a nicotine coated screen and is only EVER on for the gee gees.
  19. The Rake is a bar rather than a pub - and a small one at that (although very good). Used to buy beer from the Utobeer boys back in the 90s when they just had the stall in the market.
  20. I used to use the Wheatsheaf a little - sort of 94-98, didn't know it had reopened (not been up that way for a good while), good to hear. Market Porter too - always has interesting guest beers on.

There'd have to be a little glass cabinet on the side of the bar with two cheese and onion rolls (min 2 days old) in it and the nuts would have to be BigD nuts on a card with a scantilly clad go-go dancer underneath - and a tin of Castella by the register for aunthenticity.
  22. Passed by this evening and got a peek - white tiles on the walls and a large mound-like structure covered in polythene (wood fired pizza oven presumably), big fridges at the back, must be getting near to opening?

*chews on worm and finds it to be a rubber lure Did you AM? Did you really? For a LONG time? Just shows - you know f**k all. I have given all the bfs reasoning I am going to earlier on this thread and consider his importance to the team's current progress as vital as the cones are during training but, just for the record, yes - I would still sack the fcker. More intriguing/exciting this season is the progress of So'ton after a mass exodus and managerial genius's (allegedly) departure. Is there something in the water down there?
  25. I'm looking forward to the X-Factor North Korean week. Sort the chaff from the chaffier.
