    I used to love getting Airfix, Subbuteo, Dinky, Action Man etc from Marriott's on Lordship Lane.. Going back to more like 1974 than 1994 though.

    I like McCloud. Does anyone know where the two wooden eco houses are. The ones squeezed into an old workshop space. They're lovely.

    Co-Op food is generally really good. Their Fairtrade Chocolate is delicious as are the hot croissants. Wine selection also generally very good. Room for improvement in the salad department.

    Bit annoying as the crew must have wandered about last night putting no parking cones everywhere like they owned the place. Most residents ignored them (quite rightly)which led to some amusing head scratching by crew this morning.

    Not sure where to find it. But my son is in Reception and he loves it. I think it's very well run and the children are inspired and well taught.

    It does seem ridiculous the police are powerless to deal with dog on dog attacks. The owner should be held to account for their dog's actions. I guess sometimes in the animal kingdom nature takes over. But in this case it seems the owner did sweet FA to help during the attack and after. I haven't got a dog but if I did, and my dog attacked another and injured it that badly I'd be mortified.

    Oh yes. I get The Actress joke.. It still isn't funny. However as a pub I think it's a good addition to the area. Id like to see the CPT keep its old pub character.

    I would say Crystal Palace Tavern would be a perfect name. And if the exterior was restored to Castle standards it could be a thing of beauty. It's got good outside space. I hope the new owners really make it work.

    I would say it's probably a good move. I like the CPT but unless there's football on it's pretty empty. As long as they keep the name and not any "Actress" nonsense I hope it's a success.
