There was a similar incident reported on here a few months ago (which I think was on the junction of Uplands and Dunstans). Could be the same miscreants.

The P13 has been rubbished on this forum before but it runs on time. That said I only ever take it from Underhill to West Dulwich station or vice versa. That's all I'll say as I know I've drifted off topic.

I'm not against modern buildings but that development seems to be particularly badly designed. Greedy developers trying to cram too many flats into a small space.

I live near Si Magia but for some reason I just don't fancy it.Likewise Locale doesn't really grab me. There used to be a fantastic restaurant called Slice on the Northcote Rd. It was cheap. You could choose square slices of quality pizza from the front counter and get a side salad and a bottle of Italian plonk or ice cold Moretti beer, good coffee etc. It was such a good place and always had a buzzy atmosphere. I think something along these lines could work in ED.

Friern road is very nice.

I used to love buying Airfix kits and Subbuteo in Marriott's toy shop (they also had a Forest Hill branch). It was around where the Adventure Bar is now. I went to St John's and St Clements on Archdale Rd.. It was nice having a primary school in the heart of ED.

Have never set foot in The Castle.. I might go on Sunday to watch the match.

Only a few.. Usually cup games, Chelsea and Man City spring to mind.

I stopped (on my bike) and read the flower cards last night. There were messages from her children. Such a tragedy.

We went for a nice stroll on Sunday evening around Peckham Park. Generally people are really good about putting their rubbish in bins. However, the football pitches were strewn with empty drinks bottles which makes me really angry. I assume teams have to pay to book these pitches. Maybe the park should take a litter deposit when the booking is taken.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I hope you are ok. It happened very close to where I live. Generally it's a very quiet area that feels really safe. Hopefully the police can catch these people.

I heard that the Northcote Rd area in SW11 was the holder of this title.

It's a beautiful house.. very silly price.

I've seen sparrows in some of the hedges around the Ryedale area. I get wrens in my garden too.

Was that the one in the back garden? I remember some lovely sunday roasts sitting out there.

Seems like a big fat waste of time to me.

I like it. And at around ?2 for a delicious bacon sarnie (crusty bread) and a mug of tea one can't go far wrong.

I think some of the more "gourmet" sausage rolls have too much sausage and not enough roll (I think the EDD ones might fall into this category). Nice light buttery pastry essential.
