  1. It is an expensive business to do it safely. We have a Morso 04 which I can really recommend. https://www.whatstove.co.uk/morso-04-stove-reviews
  2. I'm hoping it's somewhere affordable. I really liked Bon Bouffe but it was only for treats and special occasions.
  3. Shame.. We went a couple of times and really enjoyed it.
  4. Crikey.. I'm a middle aged greying man and dress fashionably. I often take my own shopping bag to the coop and use it as I shop rather than use the basket (if I only need a few things usually wine, beer ,chorizo and chocolate). It's an orange Tate Gallery bag though so I'm not the culprit in this story. I think if an oddball busy-body asked me not to do this I'd probably tell them where to go.
  5. That might be the dodgy tax scam number.
  6. On NYE everything was delicious. I think the game was slightly upped by new owner.
  7. It's changed ownership and closed for a month for a refurb. The new owner was in on New Years Eve. I think she said it was going to be called 148. Same chef and staff.
  8. Rye Lane is a challenging ride at the best of times. I think wheeling through the roadworks best option at the moment.

  10. Surely it's better to have events like this on the common where the fairs and circus set up. Easier access for vehicles, closer to transport links and leaves that section of the park free for people to enjoy it as a park?

So maybe it'll be repaired in time for it to be ruined again.
  12. Would be better if the event were held on the common. Despite promises last year the damage to the grass was never put right.
  13. We've had a basic Miele for 10 years. Brilliant hoover. Wouldn't touch Dyson crap with a barge pole. Junk.
  14. My shower had slightly low pressure. I shall be suing for all they are worth.
  15. There was a sketch in Horrible Histories about the opening of Westminster School that made me laugh. 'Is there an entrance exam?' 'Yes. We examine your bank account and if there's enough in it, you're in'.
  16. Also returning an Amazon Prime is a nightmare. You have to take it back to the delivery office!
  17. I spoke to our poor postie this morning. He said they're really under the cosh with the extra pressure of lugging all the post over from Peckham. I said we're behind the foot soldiers and writing to MPs etc. Not sure good it's doing.
