  1. Hmmmm...in this case, I think not. The words are sung with vigour, most vociferously, and without pause. *practices practises rehearses for Charity Community Shield match in August*

NO...that should be FUKK me, maxxi. (Phew, what a difference a comma makes).
  3. ...And the Pedant's Award goes to... *drum roll* OutOfFocus Very funny. Even funnier was Mr. Medic's reponse - but no award as no pedantry involved. For those who don't visit the "About Forum" Section: Re: Ask Admin Posted by: OutOfFocus July 11, 01:17AM Laddy Muck Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > May we also have a Whinger's Corner please? Or even a Whingers' Corner (or is there only one whinger) Re: Ask Admin Posted by: Alan Medic July 11, 05:30AM There is only one. Fabulous stuff!
  4. Awww, you are very sweet MP and Lady Kat... Alas, your efforts are wasted...and you are right, MP, it IS very boring!:)) But thank you very much for taking the trouble. Erm...Lady Kat..."stripes"? (And NO, please do not attempt to explain...LOL!!!) *pea brain enters temporary meltdown mode*

  6. PS: what did you do - exactly - to make it speedier?
  7. "This forum is currently disabled. This is a temporary situation. Please check back later." His Laddyship was not amused earlier! But forum does seem faster - so, thanks, Admin.(tu)
  8. Oooops, should have said: congrats to the karter family... Thank you, Lady Katharina van der Poop Poop
  9. Looks like they are following in your and LB's footsteps, Poubelle.
  10. ON THEIR ENGAGEMENT TO BE MARRIED. Big fat hugs to you, missus karter, and la muy muy muy bonita karterita, Lil Bro. Really good to see you looking so happy tonight xxx
  11. Otta Wrote: -------------------------------------------- > ... I'll be there > with my spade this evening though. Jolly good! Don't go nuts though - I've ended up with many a backache following overzealous digging. Oh, and congratulations!
  12. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It churns up earth. It's needed on the wife's > bloody allotment. Or just get down there with a spade!:))
  13. I saw this last night. I thought it was beautifully shot, and I really enjoyed the soundtrack, but I thought the content dire. It's almost as though the the Director couldn't make up his mind as to whether he was making a drama, an arthouse movie, a nature programme, or - even - a documentary on the cosmos. What a shame; I was looking forward to a film of substance, but - to me - the result was confusion. Very pretentious stuff. As per Ladygooner, do something else with your 2 hours.

Ha ha, that's very good, OutOfFocus. Most amusing... Admin, may we also have a section for the Apostrophe Police please? The "Special Branch" of the General Pedants' Department. *double-checks for grammatical errors*
  15. Where I live, us friendly folk have an informal arrangement whereby - should any of us go nuts on the garden - we are able to use any spare capacity in our neighbours' brown bins once ours is full. The system works very well. Just a few days ago I filled up ours and nearly two others, whereas a couple of weeks ago ours was filled by someone else. You could do worse than to speak to your neighbours.

    > and you'd be amazed how many threads > had exactly 73 or 37 posts. Not really...I mean, four effin years...how many pages did you actually trawl through? As for those 73/37s, they would have been of no use to you whatsover, for the purposes of your game.

I almost forgot: Re: Laptops netbooks tablets - a discussion Posted by: Laddy Muck Today, 10:41AM 73 I claim yet another point... (yawn) Ianr, that post was excellent. Post of the month I say! I am presuming Mr. Medic was your first customer. As for you Mr. Medic...you went back FOUR years...FOUR EFFING YEARS?!!!! I don't know whether to admire you or have pity.
  23. Pfffft... behave Mr. Medic...you're miffed only because I didn't ask you to be my nominated drinker!
  24. Cheers, Help-Ma-Boab. I shall be there with 3LittlePiggies and others. If it's only half as fun at last year, it should be brilliant.
