  1. Agree Loz, the sequence was that the ACARS was switched off, then the co-pilot verbally signed off with Malaysia, then a short time after this the transponder was switched off. All seems well planned, though what has happened to the poor passengers we can only imagine their fear.
  2. See following link, maybe worth moving out of the 21st century rather than ED: www.vimeo.com/88093956 A beautiful film anyway..... Edited link

  8. My sister went with friends on a Saturday night and said it was packed and a really good atmosphere. Food was good too. Think the weekend trade is busy from what I hear.
  9. Belair House is very good value, though I think it's just changed hands. We had a function there and was a great place. We had also enquired about the Horniman but it was very expensive. The gallery in the village is also for hire and beautiful, but around same cost as the Horniman, out of the two it would have been the Gallery but the date wasn't available when we needed it, hence we went to Belair House.
  10. Have a look at The Refinery on West 38th. Good central location, great rooftop bar, spacious rooms(very loft like). Was an old warehouse I think that has been converted really well. Brilliant if staying during the warmer months, air con good and rooftop bar in the evenings.
  11. Haha, so she just appeared on it then. Huge ego! Amazing....

Was that the one that took AS to court because she didn't feel that the ?100,000.00 per year job she got as a result of winning The Apprentice, was of no value?
  13. Yes agree! A friend referred to it as Big Brothel! I'm more appalled by Luisa, her behaviour and comments that she seems to think is ok... I'm still going to watch though, just make a cup of tea when it becomes low life cringy!
  14. Lots of threads on here about Fusion...all generally very bad. The council own the property, Fusion run and manage it, very poorly. Just like G4S running the security for the Olympics.... The council don't seem to do anything about it. Fusion used to have really good staff that all cared. They were told that they all put too much focus on customer service and needed to concentrate on sales, hence the decline. Fusion got rid of the good ones.
  15. Someone told me the other day that their main restaurant is at the Elephant & Castle, you could try looking that up.
  16. Heard she has gone to Headmasters, though not sure where that is. Hope that helps.
  17. Belladonna, maybe, just maybe, the person selling the old TV is just trying to raise money for Christmas or to feed their kids or to pay the electricity bill or something you have no idea about. In the spirit of Christmas, let it be. Don't throw rocks that may cause a great deal more hurt that you may intend.

Well said LondonMix. Very few businesses have the permanent right to occupy a space, Pretty's obviously had the opportunity to buy the business under a year ago, when it went on the market. They clearly chose not to.....
  19. But didn't they sell the freehold about a year ago.... Through Harvey & Wheeler estate agents if I remember correctly? I seem to recall thinking it was only a matter of time, or have I got the wrong one? Surely they wouldn't sell and think it would all remain the same?

  21. Is it the grocery shop that's never open opposite Blackbird bakery? Not sure, just those strange gates at right angles ring a bell?
  22. As giggirl says.....I would also do his roots for him and anything else he'd like doing.....
  23. Agree with both HB and KK. Having walked up and down LL today, the place is covered in flying ants and flies. The fault of HOT that one of them decides to take a dip in your glass? Methinks not! Very strange attitude......I am always amazed when people ask for refunds/replacements when it's clearly not the fault of the business. Reminds me of a thread within the last few days.
