Guy from post office showed me his template and insisted picture was fine. Passport house said it wasnt. 'wasnt correct to spcifications.'. I couldnt see what the fuss was about. Ended up paying twice though for pic.

  6. loong time ago was working in the basement of Sandersons Oxford street. Was a bunch of older jamaican guys worked there too. used to have lots of chilli in their lunchtime kebabs and smoke a bit of weed down there whilst sending the wall paper up the hatch as the rolls were bought. one day the main elevator came down to our floor by mistake.we were there stinking the place out with our feet up on the table. the doors opened and there was the queen mother and a couple of aides. realising their error they pressed the button. as the doors closed the old lady grinned from ear to ear at us, looking at her going 'ooooh s*&t!'. She didnt say anything to anyone about it. We were expecting a grilling. never happened.
  7. japanese not nec just sushi but noodles/rice at reasonable prices and a neat felafel stall, 2 I'd frequent with the odd curry and restaraunt variants already here.

  12. i saw something awesome over clapham common once. I was with a table load of people and we all looked up going whaaaat? I think in the end we decided, as there was no headlines anywhere, not a mention. that it must have been meteor burn up. seems lame tho because it was not only large but way slower than a shooting star. cruised right over us, for definate was not a plane. We were spooked for a while. I made a quick call to the interplanetary society and was told naah just a firework probably. So,forgot about it. As you do. I remember how i felt like a character in close encounters for a while there. Met someone once who saw a large v shaped thing over his head that had odd symbols on its underbelly. he got obsessed and looked them up. Closest he could find was ancient egyptian symbols for 'wheat' . Gets you crazy.
