  1. isnt this designed to grow? slowly but surely more and more cities take part untill we are actually able to control our climate somewhat. just like a greenhouse. you turn the heat down for a bit, regulate. turning off is just about the only quick fix there is potentially, i would have thought. if it is found to be effective and is done more, great! k every saturday for an hour. who cares? if its shown to work voila. roll on the future. I can see metallica being a problem! watch that and turn everything else off. Still a drop in usage. In my head full of poxy, Ive been waiting for this for sometime. I believe turning off to be the simpleist solution. unfortunately world wide though to really ht the spot.Maybe even almost oblligotory.Licsence to stay on given to esseantial places..hopspitals etc. part of the whole one world thing. Your actions beneficial to other nations. The other day at a school i looked at the amazing variety of faces sat in the school hall. Quite incredible. In this particular hall no skin colour or facial types predominated. Right there in front of me was 'one world'. On us already. To be worked on. my 1/2 p. enjoy your candles. actually pub sounds good. candlelit pub. rawr!
  2. steph. I know this maybe hard to remember, were they carrying a plastic bag that kind of resembled the bags carried by leafleters, like cab card canvassers? Under those circumstances they wouldnt stand out too much as they check every front door for weakness. good thinking! when you say 'kids' ..my sighting would put them between18-24 roughly.
  3. let me get the ball rollin 2 guys black, look almost like twins. very similar. quite smart leather jackets, not bomber but that kind of length. Not very tall, 5/8 5/9. Same height as i cos i was face to face with them. jeans trainers. smartish. sound similar to yours?
  4. An English chap mixes snails and porridge and creates a hit. sorry, really? ug!

  7. though hating her considerably as an irritating publicity hungry cleb i felt bad for her when she found out party is over.Wasnt the irony that she missed her test because she was determined to cover her tracks and publicly appease shilpa shetty? i dunno, but wouldnt wish her cancer on anyone. Its odd how she somehow looked at her most vibrant with no hair. Somehow it brought out different qualities to her face. Once quite ugly to watch as she talked her sh*t and yet before she died she seemed quite noble and dignified. Life+ death is quite random huh? A good friend of mine died of the same thing. She was about 15 yrs older than Jade. A vetenarian in california. She simply had a tummy ache that got a bit beyond a quick neurofen. so she had a quick check. Gone within a year. 2 great children, hubby doing his best.
  8. had a very fun mothers day at locale they did a great job and all the children made it difficuilt for the staff as we let them do what they want and just enjoyed ourselves. I was thinking how relaxed it can be round here. Ended up at the fht slaughtered watching fargo. ha bizarre but good!

    Great Gigs

loong time ago i took the train to london and saw john martyn at the marquee club. the audience was sitting on the floor, on that foul carpet they used to have in there wardour street. was really smokey in there. major ganja. was a great concert. I returned home totally martynanised. so that must have been 1976.Tonight on telly they did a bit of a tribute to him, re_showing that docu of him pre leg chop. Then they showed a short concert of him, around the time I saw him. Im thinking, yep that marquee club night is probably the best thing I ever saw. Ive seen iggy pop with the horses tail at the music machine, ive seen bowie, prince james brown birthday party, suicide, some of the fullest on people you could see, ruts, motoorhead, specails, early sabbath, loads, you name it, but john martyn solo 70's took the biscuit folks. r.i.p. just saying.

  15. why 8 children? sometimes more..dads club. Those great times. uplands then was ace , everybody was welcoming, they knew theyd have to clear up a bit after we were gone, but we'd tip. kids r older now. those days are gone. broody, moi?
  16. they are 4 years old. raw monkeys. theyve been everywhere else just about around here. never any issue. in fact i used to go most places with about 8 of them. sorry louisa blue brick sux. on the not very busy 'dont go there' list. most places around here are very good about raw monkeys even more so when they see you are trying to keep them in control. which I do. mostly.
  17. went there with small kids. repeatedly asked them to sit down with us at table.they kinda did but was hard work. food was forgetable but at the end of it the lady (owner?) came out , followed me to the pavement and said 'next time you come will you try to control the children'. I said what? she repeated it so i went tourettes on her and never will be back. There was no one else in there. so like, who did they disturb?
