No, I was hoping for a response from someone other than you. It's a slow day. -

Both are a bit scummy, but not the end of the world. -
If Liverpool can wrap up Benteke I am going to allow myself to feel optimistic.

That's a good point Mustard. My 3 year old daughter goes absolutely manic when she's over tired, it's like a different child and borderline scary. This is not in pubs by the way. -

To be fair, there is nothing wrong with trying something and not liking it. Everyone has different tastes. What is wrong is calling something a poor product just because you don't like it. -

Seriously though I'd been hoping to read that news, think it's a good signing.

I don't think ZT has said a single thing that suggests he doesn't like children. He just doesn't like children not looking where they're going and parents not paying enough attention. I'd tend to agree with him frankly. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Getting lung cancer is the absolute worst. Excellent flare for the dramatic there Sue. I think people should get off of ZT's back. -

My office is across the water from City Airport, and there was all sorts happening there, with flares going off and stuff.

I do think there is some truth to it when you look at the development of Soho and the businesses closing down never to be seen again. Or if you like small live music venues (jazz on a Sunday does not count!!!).

Last time I was at Reading (2007) we had a blast as there were loads of us there and some good bands / acts. BUT on the last night the place went crazy. Gangs of pissed kids literally burning tents, sometimes with people still in them. Loads of stealing going on, it felt like the wild west once the final band had finished. I don't know that I'd be happy with my teenaged daughter going there, I think I'd let her go on the condition she left slightly early and missed that last night.

My girls love their scooters, but yes they shouldn't be using them in shops, and parents should be telling them to watch where they're going and look out for other people. I think the majority probably do, but as with many things (see bad cyclists / drivers) a small number of entitled arseholes are the noticable ones so people end up thinking scooters are bad. But as for. No it's not okay, and I don't think ANYONE on this thread (whatever their view on kids in pubs) has suggested that it would be. -

I was being a bit tongue in cheek, but I am sure it's very easy to make the figures work for you in terms of healthcare spend on smokers. Something like lung cancer is pretty straight forward, but with (for example) heart issues, you can never prove that it's a direct result of smoking, but you can bet that they'll be included in those figures. But anyway, people lime ED NAGAIUTB calling people "skank skank" is pretty out of order. -

Agree. I did watch some Chemical Brothers last night, and the visuals must have looked pretty awesome, but call me old fashioned, I want to see a band. I saw on facebook a photo of a huge flag waved during Kanye West's set, with a still from his wife's sex tape (with another man) on it.
