But I have watched the first season of Walking Dead and the first 2 episodes of season 2 in the last 2 days. Slightly Lostesque in some ways, but generally a good watch. When they left that guy by the tree to die towards the end of season 1 I was actually thinking of Grapes of Wrath. But the similarities end there.

My kids prefer Science, but get to NH beofre they get rid of the big dinosaur skeleton in the main hall.

And the fact they made a point of mentioning it suggests to me at least that it was a bit of a vote winner.

You'd definitely be hard pressed to write a song with an original chord progression, but when it comes to the melody or a guitar riff for example, that's more obvious. But there are loads of songs that remind me of other songs , which I'm sure is not intentional copying.
