I was just there to check it out as a potential gig venue, but didn't realise there was more hidden away.
  2. I got South Bucks, but it seems the happiest I can be anywhere is 54%. So I'll just remain miserable in Penge.

A very small amount of people kicked off that day because they'd even read the news about this. Most people kicked off that day because it seemed like fun and because they are morons.
  4. I think that sounds fun, but from what I remember that venue isn't that big is it?
  5. I've not read the whole report (and I'm not going to), but from what I have read it just seems that no real conclusions can be reached because there is no evidence, so it's a case of we'll never no for sure, but this is quite likely what happened, and at the end of the day he wasn't a very nice guy and he did have possession of a gun.
  6. What do you think about the IPCCs report into the Mark Duggan shooting?
  7. Those wasted years make us what we are. Although I do miss the money I spent.
  8. But would you waste them again or do something terribly sensible with them?
  9. I don't mean they'll go way to the left/right, just that there will seem like there is SOME genuine difference. Which right now is hard to find.

I think this is undoubtedly true right now, although how they will choose to implement their policies will still differ. But as the country recovers and things aren't so tight, they'll move further away from the centre.
  11. For some of us it has nothing to do with being a lefty, but everything to do with not being a righty.
  12. Perhaps an effort to sound genuine saaaf london? ;-) That was a joke before anyone gets upset. The song goes His first name is Gavin, is Gavin, is Gavin His second name is Rose, is Rose, is Rose And we really like him, we like him, we like him In fact we f******g love him, we love him, we love him. Not the work of a lyrical genius to be fair, but it's a nice shout to the manager. I have a personal favourite, but only because I share a last name with one of the players and my daughter thinks the song is for her.
  13. Osborne, May, Johnson... Can't believe I'm saying it, but think I'd have Osborne if I was forced to choose. Borris is way more right wing than he lets on on telly, and May is just scary crazy.

  15. My 5 year old daughter has been a few times and enjoyed it. There isn't a lot of swearing, and only one song I can think of there a swear word is obvious, but my kids don't seem to have picked up on it. Quite a few people with kids stand on the far side opposite the main stand. There is a sheltered but there, and kids often run around and sometimes play their own mini football matches at the side of the pitch.

I shared that on FB yesterday. It even got a show on MOTD. Crazy crazy match, can't argue with 1. United's first half performance 2. Mata's second goal 3. Gerrard's sending off. What I do argue with quite strongly is Jones not seeing red. But hey ho, still 8 games to play, I don't think yesterday has settled anything.
  17. Considering I forgot all of Satuday's matches, my 4 points doesn't seem too bad. Well done AqM, but I don't think you're out of it yet RD...
  18. Bloody hell, you don't see that every day! (thankfully)
  19. Forgot yesterday's altogether. And to think I wanted Gerrard to come on at half time and change the game. He definitely did that. Jones should've been sent off just before the second goal though.
  20. So much for my predictions, although
  21. Now it's been done at 2012, why not?
  22. I know, but that is my real fear.
  23. Some good photos here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-31965456 Including this http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/81787000/jpg/_81787686_hi026406924.jpg Which is pretty cool.
  24. Tory UKIP Coalition.
  25. Years ago I worked at the Sainsbury's on DKH and they changed the name of "virtually fat free" milk to "skimmed" milk. This crazy woman absolutely refused to believe it was the same product with a new label. She got really aggressive and started poking me in the chest and caling me a liar. Was that you Lou? (We're talking 1996 here).
