Was hoping for, but not really expecting Everton and Spurs wins today (and totally sick that Terry got on the score sheet for Chelsea). Butwho cares about all that, great 3 points for the pool today, have a great player in Coutinho (hopefully we'll hold on to him, for a while anyway) and loving life as a pool supporter right now. Just a shame it took so long for things to click, otherwise who knows... Still, if we can knock United out of the top 4, that would have to be considered a great season, so here's hoping!

I was a huge fan when it was Ideal, but last time I went there it was crap. But maybe just a bad day. To be honest I am very very rarely in Dulwich at the sort of time I'd need a cafe, so not a big deal, but was disappointed this morning.

There used to be, but no longer as far as I know.

And I wouldn't really mind the above if they weren't charging dulwich premium.

Whilst we're on the subject of cafes, we stayed at my mum's last night and went for a fry this morning. First port of call was the place by the Clarke's shoe shop, but it was rammed. So ended up in the Dulwich Cafe by the Palmerston. Was never a fan of the place 10 years ago, and it hasn't improved. Proper shit cafe. And the wife said she had easily the worst bubble she'd ever eaten.

When I'm a bit more with it I may start a thread about what a long running internet forum becomes. EDF would be an interesting source for future anthropologists.

Yep, our very own Jah Lush was over the moon yesterday at paying ?2.25 a pint of Late Knights "morning glory" ale in Penge Wetherspoons. Which is a pretty nice pub as Wetherspoons go.

He can only put local talent on if they come forward. I've run open mic nights before now, and sometimes you would end up playing most of the night because no one else came to play.

Just for the record, I haven't deleted the original post because by the time I realised it was in the public domain rather than someone's inbox (about an hour after posting it) someone had already quoted it so deleting seemed pointless. I also didn't want to be accused of trying to "cover up" after the event. I haven't defended it, I have just said I'd be a hypocrite if I tried to take it all back.
