  1. Both cheating dives though. I hate seeing Suarez dive, and actually Liverpool could in theory be much higher up the table had his genuine penalty shouts been awarded in the last few weeks, so his reputation is harming the whole team. Alan Hansen is right on this, he needs to make a real effort to stay on his feet, even when there is some minimal contact, and hopefully refs will start giving him the benefit of the doubt again. At the moment players are able to foul him then tell the ref he dived, and nothing is given because the ref believes the defender. You reap what you sow / boy who cried wolf etc etc. Stoke were basically roughing him up though.
  2. Does the child need to be 2.5 at the start, or can they be 3.5 at the start, meaning they'd be over 4 by the end?
  3. Saurez getting a lot of stick for another dive (quite rightly). No one really mentioning the stamp, and general physicality he took during the game though, and no one seems to be having a go at Bale, and it was hardly his first offence!
  4. And no Huguenot is not admin, he just gave a good answer to your question, and then pointed out that given you history of reporting posts, you probably didn't need to report every signature that displeased you. I'm not obsessed with querying your posts, I just find the ones in this section odd.
  5. Gidget, why are you so obsessed with people advertising stuff, for the love of God!
  6. I have to say I'm with PK on this one. I do like West Ham as a club though, so hope they do okay despite the manager.
  7. This thread reminded me of this. Stummbled across these guys at the 2007 Reading festival at about 2am. Was hilarious live.

Without wanting to sound harsh, who cares? Unless their results are reversed, I can't see it making a bit of difference in their futures.

    Skyfall

Brosnan's first effort was great (Golden eye), the rest of his were terrible. Not really his fault, just really crap OTT films. Craig has been lucky in that the scripts he has had are "keeping it real"... Well at least as real as Bond can ever be.

  11. If anyone has a child with a SEN, and requires transport to school, please check with Southwark whether you need to reapply when the child goes to secondary. I work for Newham SEN, and in this borough transport does NOT automatically carry over to a new school, and as a result we get a lot of angry phone calls in September from people who didn't know to, or forgot to reapply.
  12. Man City 3 Sunderland 0 Chelsea 2 Norwich 0 Swansea 2 Reading 1 West Brom 2 QPR 2 Wigan 1 Everton 2 West Ham 2 Arsenal 2 (last minute equaliser from Carroll, Wenger will claim he fouled someone in the box. You heard it here first) Southampton 3 Fulham 1 Liverpool 1 Stoke 1 (Hope I'm wrong and the pool start to climb the table, but record against Stoke is not good) Tottenham 2 Aston Villa 1 Newcastle 2 Man Utd 2 (Man U equal;iser in the 19th minute of stoppage time)
  13. I've been meaning to book Loz for 3 years, must try harder!!!

Good point about quality of telly the world over. Australian telly looks like it's filmed in the living room with a camcorder.

On this we are in total agreement. Except I manage to avoid watching cos the wife can't stomach it.
  16. Haven't read the article as it sounds like a mum thing. However, I used to be quite a keen photographer, going on walks with my camera and snapping things that caught my eye. Yesterday I was looking through a friend's facebook photos of all the places she's been, and interesting shots. This led me to look at my own facebook photos, and sure enough it is 3.5 years worth of my kids, with the occasional guitar thrown in.
  17. Gary Moore - Still got the blues. Kirk Hammett (Metallica) - Enter Sandman
  18. I've never been a huge fan, but Brian May has played some lovely solos over the years. He has a good ear for melody, and it shows in his solos. Can't stand it when it's all about "shredding" mega fast and tapping all over the shop just to show that you can. (I probably say this because I'm rubbish at it)
  19. The worst witch was great. Also totally ripped off by a certain J.K. Rowling!

  21. Oh, and Stairway to Heaven is not allowed!
  22. Slash Sweet Child (the big one at the end), Estranged, November Rain, Fields of Joy (Lenny Kravitz song he played on). "Comfortably Numb" (Dave Gilmour) "Mr. Crowley" (Randy Rhoads in fact mosy of his solos were pretty damned awesome) "Little wing" (Hendrix) "Hotel California" (Eagles) - Not a fan, but great solo A good old one is in My Sharona by The Knack, although it goes on a bit!
  23. "Sadly I did not have good experiences with the Drs or HVs" Has anyone in the world ever had a good experience with Health Visitors? Actually to be fair, I think my wife met one who she said was very good, and knowledgable (an older lady). But it would seem that 99 out of 100 are total shite.
  24. The best thing about that was that the chairman said "look at his record", as if it was a posative thing. Surely if you'd looked at his record you never would have employed the tw@t.
  25. Yep, that's pretty much it.
