So you did make a mistake once then? My illusion is shattered, I feel like everything I ever believed has been a lie.

It can't actually be real, can it? Anyway UDT, surely the players had nothing to worry about, as you must get the ball every time. To get the man would be to make a mistake, and I just can't imagine you'd ever do that.

No, you tie their boot laces together.

You enjoy hurting your opponent with tackling? Are you Roy Keane?

I bet you scored at least 10 of those goals, a player of your ability.
  6. What Jeremy said. I talented guy, but a sack full of issues, and just doesn't seem to be able to stay away from trouble. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong too.

I have to say, that I thought it would be a lot tighter than it was, given Italy's 2 previous performances, but I don't know any better. What is astounding, is that after talking about things such as tactics, quality of players and playing surfaces, UDT still didn't know any better. What a pointless exercise, being as 2 minutes in you knew it had all been for nought.

No, you're just wrong because you can't analyse something that doesn't yet exist. And because you said it would be a tight match. Now there is no shame in that, it doesn't actually matter one little bit in the great scheme of things. People just find it funny that you can't hold your hands up.

Oh, and UDT, serious question. Have you ever in your life just held your hands up and said "yeah I got that one wrong?

Can I just chip in here with YOU CAN NOT ANALYSE SOMETHING THAT IS YET TO HAPPEN!!!!! You can analyse your opinent's recent form and tacticts, and try to plan around how you think they will play. Pundits can "preview" a match, but you can't bloody well analyse it, because IT IS IN THE FUTURE!!!! Sorry, just been trying not to have that rant since yesterday, but I'm a broken man now.

Spain finally turning it on, class performance in the final, fair play.
  13. If I'm out, it's got to be a kebab. If at home, I'm not one for risking cooking when drunk, so normally it's soft cheese on cracker bread, or Roast Beef Monster Munch if available.
  14. Yep, East Ham, West Ham, Canning Town, Plaistow, Manor Park, Forest Gate, Beckton, and Stratford. Stratford is the only bit that seems to be getting much of a facelift.
  15. Have you ever actually been to Newham foxy?

Was he the tall guy with the long coat who used to say "Lemme'apoun" to everyone who walked past 7-11 in the 90s?
  17. I remember as a kid, my dad and his mates talking about a lot of yuppies moving in to the area, so I think during the 80s more well off professionals started seeing it as an area with potential.
  18. I think my parents only had an indoor toilet a year or 2 before I was born (78). Don't think there were many outdoor jakes left by the 90s though.
  19. You beat me to it Maxxi, I was thinking the bag must have been a tiny little handbag!
  20. You're absolutely right Penguin, in future they should wait until they know for sure that at least one child has actually been taken, before sending out a well meaning message encouraging people to be careful.

  22. You never know, Sue may even need some waiting staff for weddings... Anyway, looks like Hornimans still have volunteers http://www.horniman.ac.uk/get_involved/volunteering
  23. The reading thing sounds much better than Sainsburys anyway, but have you also tried the Forest Hill branch? Do Hornimans have volunteer work? I'm sure they used to.
