  1. Aw Rosie, you were one of the very nice girls I was talking about.
  2. Well he won't get many peaceful strolls in Newham!
  3. Although I've met some very nice girls from Wigan to be fair.
  4. Wigan pretty well summed up there to be honest.
  5. Why not pop to the piano shop on Kirkdale and have a chat with them.

Let Terry whisper in his ear, and he'll walk off the pitch.

UDT, did you not think much of Ireland then?

Agreed. I was thinking last night that much as I think he's a scum bag, Terry is looking very solid, and is making up for his lack of pace with good positioning.

Milner has worked hard, but none nothing since a great run, and a miss early on against France. Young is starting to look like his confidence is slipping. Might be worth starting with The Ox, and bringing Young on later... Just so long as we don't see anything of Downing!
  10. Well said Belle. Hand me downs particularly bad when you're hanging around with the previous owner, who you think is cool.

Happiest with last night's results is El Pibe, who's loyalties can now remain nicely split. An enviable position.

By the way, move to Sydenham, it has MUCH nicer housing, and is MUCH more leafy ;-)

"If Other teams had been playing to their potential," But that's just it, Spain haven't. They were shocking last night, and against Ireland they weren't that special. Don't get me wrong, they could be amazing in their next game, but so far this tournament, I think Germany have looked best. And England of course... :-S

    You think?
  16. I'm interested, did those of you with 3 or 4 have to convince your other halves at all? Someone my wife knows wanted a third, her husband told her he really didn't. Eventually he was more or less told to have another one or lose what he had. They had another, and he loves him. However, to me that just doesn't seem at all fair. Not suggesting any of you acted that way, but interested whether any convincing was required.
  17. Piece of piss :-/
  18. Surely neither is "best". Whatever works for the couple and their life.

First I'd heard about that. Yep, will make it a lesser tournament.

" Actually was Walcott who got the highest rating with 9. Gerrard & Welbeck received the same score of 8." I did say "of the starters". "STEVEN GERRARD (CENTRE MIDFIELD) - 8 Guy's view: Star man as regards those who started.

I'm really pleased to see Johnson playing so well, especially as many questioned his selection (which was fair enough), but he's shown he deserves his place. Agree Rooney, Welbeck and Young should start next match, with Carroll to come on if we need a change. Theo definitely best as an impact sub, when opposition are starting to get tired legs.

I was joking UDT, Jah is indeed a fine drinking partner. For their second goal, it wasn't even bad marking, it was non existent.

Seriously, no one is suggesting England looked great, in some areas they were awful, but it was a great match. Doesn't mean they're gonna win anything. Was surprised that Guy Mobray (sp?) of the BBC gave Gerrard top score (of the starters) in his player ratings. I love Stevie G, and didn't think he did badly (UDT and his best mate Jah will no doubt tell us otherwise), but star man?!?! Ashley Young needs to up his game a lot. Carroll deserves credit for doing his job, but will no doubt make way for Rooney. Welbeck is starting to look like he belongs at this level. Lets not forget though, Sweden are average, and we gave them 2 goals.
